      I think your 560 & my 806 have similar fuel systems.

      Haha yea it is empty and not hooked up. It was in when I bought the tractor, thought it was kinda funny so I left it in.

      I love working on these engines. Even more so than the 66 series because there is no fuel tank in the road. I remember putting a reman engine in a 10 in about 3 hours from start to finish!

    Hey man where’d you order the filters from? I found all the fleetguard filters for the 86 series on amazon but never know with places like that. I get a bit nervous on there lol

    The elbow on the pump end of the hose is leaking on my 1586. Did you say that end was NPT? Did you just Teflon tape that end?

    • @PAFarms
      @PAFarms  6 лет назад

      Pretty sure it’s pipe. Yea I just used Teflon. It’s been a while since the video and nothing leaking yet

    I know this is a bit late but it's rubber to absorb the pulses in the line or it would cause damage.

    Great video thanks for sharing. My hand pump leaks on my 1086 to. Is there seal kit a person can get to repair them. I looked online and can’t seem to find one.

    • @PAFarms
      @PAFarms  6 лет назад

      I can look into it more. We had a Diesel shop down the road from our shop so we never did anything to pumps. We did test & rebuild injectors, but be hardly ever touched pumps.

      PA Farms thanks my hand pump leaks a little when the engine is running so I need to fix it before I have hay laying in the field and the tractor is out of commission.

      I did a little digging, I saw they had 2 different pumps available for the 1086 based on the serial number. I’m not sure if you did it or not. I think I would get the model number off the pump and do an internet search on the model for a seal kit?

      PA Farms thanks for looking into my hand pump leaking. I’ll get the serial number of the pump and do an internet search latter this week when I’m at the farm. Thanks for info.

    • @PAFarms
      @PAFarms  6 лет назад

      It’s not hooked up on any of my tractors, I think the can is empty, no wires going to it.

    Can you make a video on how to turn the fuel yp

  • @orkhancombe5
    @orkhancombe5 6 лет назад

    May have already thrown the fuel filters out, but would be interesting to see how much crud is collect around 60Hours!!
    Use a hacksaw and cut around the top of the fuel filter. Dont use a die grinder ahah... Sparks and diesel dont mix hehehe

    I just done the 986 and the 1440 last year. worst part I find is the tank tap it's hard on the fingers lol.

    • @PAFarms
      @PAFarms  6 лет назад

      Yea, I hate the ones that are that tight, you end up twisting the end off!!

    I would buy some otr truck fuel hose, buy some brass crimps and make my own hose.... I have a complete set of Hydralic crimp dies, or for other types I make my own crimp dies....

    • @PAFarms
      @PAFarms  6 лет назад

      Yea that’s the way to do it. I do know some farms that invest in a crimper.
