Nasi Kerabu. Kerabu is a Salad (so Rice Salad). So before eating, you have to toss and mix everything except for the Meat/Chicken. Break the crackers and mix it in too
If you guys don't mind, it's much better when you guys and the food look bigger in the frame, like in 19:09, otherwise you guys and the food looked a bit far away from the camera.

We wanted to try and get all the food in the shot, but I guess that actually doesn't matter too much as people will only really be focussing on what we're eating. Then, focus on you guys eating those food, one by one, follow by your sincere comments about the food. The importance is, too enjoy the food while filming. And you guys got to have some water or drink too, otherwise, the after taste of one food will combine with the next one. It's just an observation. 😀

the grilled chicken sticks, you have to get the wings. thats where its at. its sabahan style grilled chicken but the og's are the wings the triangle shaped ones weren't otak otak theyre called satar but its commonly sold alongside otak otak

@@DisappearforDays it is so much different ingredient wise. Satay much more sweeter and lemon grassy, while Kambing Bakar is much more herby, cinnamony, clove, peppery and savory
@@DisappearforDays sure, give it a try sir. It could be BBQ on direct heat be it on the skewer or lay on the grill instead of flat cast iron. As long as they are cuts of marinated goat meat with bones still attached, almost identical to the US style BBQ, but, a bit wet and saucy to my liking.
I like the Bazaar Ramadhan you guys visited over the popular ones, wish there is address or name of these Bazaar Ramadhan in the descriptions, so I can visit them.

Oh right, I see! Some other comments said the chicken we had with our Nasi Kerabu may likely have been Ayam bakar, so hopefully it's only Kambing bakar that we need to try properly!

believe it or not by just eating 3 dates, a glass of milk or sweet water & rinsing with plain water you can survive hunger and thirst from 6am until breaking time (7++pm).. For Muslims we can do various works, for those of you who want to try fasting for the first time, you just need to be indoors (do the activity as usual) you will definitely feel the magic of the dates....

Ahhh that's so annoying, we were looking for Kambing but struggled to find it, so saw the first thing and went with it! Is normal kambing more like cuts of meat?

From my point of view the fish floss in Nasi Kerabu taste quite dry because either they use instant floss or maybe they just dont know how to make a good & fresh fish floss...lol...

There are definitely foods from back home that we miss, a lot of comfort food or 'pub grub', but the food here we feel is definitely more diverse as it comes from 3 different ethnic backgrounds. There is so much good food to try here 🤤😂❤️

We were conscious how much food we already had so didn't want to over buy and have too much leftovers! Does the flavour taste the same on the satay as compared to normal, or is it a different flavour? If so, we'll have to go back again maybe then 😂

Me personally don't understand what's the hype of roti John in bazaar ramadhan. Well maybe it's because of my age...😅. But really since younger days I didn't get along well with having roti John for breaking of fast.
Oh, I couldn't imagine it being a breakfast item, but we felt it was definitely a good lunch! It was a large portion and full of flavours. Just wish we had tried the crispy chicken variation!

To eat nasi kerabu, u must mix all. The floss is coconut with fish not chicken floss..that why floss is dry.

ayam golek is the ayam bakar.. if the chicken colour red, it means the marinate with honey..

The dish that Emma called ayam gelek is actually ayam golek. Ayam bakar is commonly available as an optional sidedish for nasi kerabu

Yeah, we've had a few comments saying the Nasi Kerabu might have had Ayam Bakar? Hopefully it was. But that doesn't solve the Kambing bakar! Maybe we'll have to go back and try to get it again soon! ☺️

We were conscious how much food we already had so didn't want to over buy and have too much leftovers! Does the flavour taste the same on the satay as compared to normal, or is it a different flavour? If so, we'll have to go back again maybe then 😂

Me personally don't understand what's the hype of roti John in bazaar ramadhan. Well maybe it's because of my age...😅. But really since younger days I didn't get along well with having roti John for breaking of fast.
Oh, I couldn't imagine it being a breakfast item, but we felt it was definitely a good lunch! It was a large portion and full of flavours. Just wish we had tried the crispy chicken variation!
