On a Wilson 1786 model would switching the wrist lace to the smallest position work to fit for a 10 year old.

I have a youth glove that only has 4 holes on the wrist strap not 8 like you have on this glove. Someone removed the laces before I could look at how it was originally laced. How would you relace a youth glove like this.

Instead of making that “X” you’ll just make a “I” since there’s less holes

I feel like a genius, I just did this and don't have a needle, so I gathered up some things and decided to MacGyver a way to do it.... I ended up basically making a needle out of a stainless steel drinking straw, I had to use the vice grips to crimp an end flat, and then the grinder to make it into a smaller point to fit in the holes, it's a little too girthy but could be forced through without too much trouble.
