    what is the life expectancy of this product
    what is the finish like - in comparison to tiles or marble, that are super smooth. are the floor imperfections masked up? any close up pictures would help

    this was a huge transformation. personally i dont like the matte finish. it takes away from the look of the product. do you have to put a finish over the finished look for protection ?

    These epoxy floors are going to feature on home renovation shows 20 years down the line. 'replaced out dated epoxy floor and added 20k value'. They look cool now though.

    Would like to do a garage floor - has years of junk (paint, old oil stills, filthy - you get it). How 'clean' does the floor need to be to start w/ primer?

      You will want to diamond grind the surface to get all the oil and paint off the surface so the primer will adhere to the concrete.

      @@LeggariProducts what if it's not a garage it's just a basement and it's just weed ash and cumstains on the concrete do I still need to grind it down? cant I just scrub the concrete with TSP?

    I’d love to get this done to my garage but I’m so afraid of messing it up and THEN not having the time to fix it or pay to get it fixed.

    You guys didn’t have to worry about the moisture in the concrete??? If any. After took the tile off and removed the grout and gunk and repairs did you let the floor breath for a day? Or immediately went to adding the primer?

      We did not have any moisture in the concrete. We diamond ground it one day then did the primer and epoxy the next day

    I would like to do my garage floor in possibly a black base colour ...Then clear resin ..But have keys, coins ,screws , spanners,nails ,washere etc under the resin ..is this possible ? ...

      We do it all in the same day because once you apply the base coat of epoxy you immediately want to do the highlights so you have time to blend them in with the base coat of epoxy.

    2 questions: 1. Is epoxy resin ok with floor heating? 2. Is epoxy always so shiny, with that mirror-like look? Could an epoxy floor be more opaque?

      Yes you can apply the epoxy over a heated floor. We have two different looks with our urethane top coat. Our WB Urethane comes in high gloss and leaves a minor texture and we also have a WB Urethane that’s a Matte/Satin finish. Thanks

      Yes you can wear a mask. The product is very low VOC’s meaning it has little to no smell at all. It’s 100% solids so there’s no toxins evaporating in the air.

      We have 3 different top coat options. Glaze coat is our super high gloss top coat that lays out glass smooth just like the metallic epoxy coat. Our WB Urethane comes in high gloss and leaves a minor texture and we also have a WB Urethane that’s a Matte/Satin finish.

      We warranty all our products against delamination (peeling off sub-straights). Also against defective products up until an installation has been successfully completed.

      You most likely couldnt use that same material, you could definitely grind terrazzo, make sure theres no shine to it. And epoxy primers will stick to it. There are also thicker epoxy that is made to go verticle. If you need to thicken up a epoxy, you could also use fumed silica to thicken any epoxy for verticle..

    How do you get the tape off the trim when the epoxy is poured against it?

      We tape about an 1/8 inch high so the tape doesn't get trapped under the epoxy.
