Amazing Video Johnnie! Yeah the crank seals are bad, you can hear it clearly the surging. I'm excited for the Phantom 85. And, the 110cc "rebuild" now that you mentioned it. Amazing! Love from the Czech Republic from Matthew
@@Matthew-wj8cm thanks for watching from across the world. I hope you’re in the group on Facebook so you can upload what the bike scene is like in that part of the world. The phantom is , well is not good and always breaking but we will make it right and the 110 “rebuild won’t be what you think but that’s also kind of of misleading sorta cause yes I will be rebuilding it but then selling it immediately but only because I’m also going to to be building another 110 way better and different. Can’t wait to get it done.
Knight in covered in grease 👌 😍 💪. Way to go brother. You saved to day for sure. That's a lot of miles on that hog. 🎉🎉🎉🎉. Nice set up on that handle bars!! 👌 😊
@@grendelsgarage9723 thank you, those base are so much nicer to ride with and the neck with the spring in it is really comfortable to ride with. Definitely not something if you want to throw the bike around and zip through traffic cause it adds a weird dynamic with the flexing but for cruising and relaxed riding it’s next level if you want comfort. Between my air shock in the front with 120mm of travel and about 100+psi and the seat post suspension post and large spring seat, and now these bars and sprung neck, all riding on 29x2.3 tires it’s definitely the most comfortable riding bike I have. No other just needs more power again kinda like when it was new but im thinkin even more. I want to really start pushing this platform of the cdh110 110/85cc motor. I really put this one through the wringer so to speak but never pushed the limits of the bottom end really. Always had the rpms fairly safe and the bottom end grunt also. It has a lot of torque even still to this day but it doesn’t have a lot of horsepower down low. So it can pull me and my trailer up hills from fairly lower speeds but it won’t gain speed very fast until flatter ground. High horsepower will destroy a daily motor with as much as I ride but if you move the horsepower to the higher rpms the motor will last five times as long (I’m not actually sure if it’s five times I’m just meaning it will last way longer) so I want to make more low end power and see where the line is before it breaks on me or if at all. I want to use all stock parts of course and a few I’m making myself. Just not sure if I’ll be making my own cylinder head for this one or not yet. I think I can make my own but with hand tools so we will have to see I guess. Thanks for commenting brother. Ride safe.
Thanks for the drive. It's rainy here so I enjoyed it. And,! Good to see another Phantom 85v3 on her bike. I presume you took the precautions I mentioned prior to full install?
@@MotorizedChuck brother I did nothing to the motor before installing it. If I would have done that then I wouldn’t be able to find the true problems with this motor and wouldn’t be able to build you a proper reliable motor. I need to know as many of the faults as possible and to be honest I wish I had a year with this motor before I built yours but I really think with the info I gathered and the studying I been doing online and in books I can start to fix the longevity problem with these. Or I hope so at least. I would love to say yeah I got this and I know all but it’s just not true at all. I don’t want the first modified phantom to come from me to be a POS and I don’t want you to have problems with it. So I definitely took extra time to read up on a few things that I was thinkin and I truly think we got a real winner now. I just need to get the math right so it all works together…..so to speak.
I destroyed my phone last week and just got it replaced. It came today, but all the way hooked up yet even but.... I trust you'll do your best and with your skills, it'll be worth it to me.
@MotorizedChuck your phone broke damn bro that sucks. But hope you’re doing well and for me when it rains it pours. I told you last week my tooth hurt really bad and on Wednesday the other side of my mouth had a bum tooth and the left side stopped being sooo bad. Then the right side got bad but then Friday night got REALLLY REALLY BAD and I woke up Saturday with my whole jaw and face swollen on my right side of my face. So now my face is swollen and hurting like whoa and my insurance is still in limbo atm which sucks a fat one for obvious reasons. So I’m tryin to call and speed them along cause as scared as I am of needles which is why I don’t go to the dentist (it’s been over 20 years). I am basic running there just to get this fixed so I can get back to normal life living. The other stuff is settling down so that’s good and my face and tooth is the 3rd thing bad to happen to me so since things happen in 3’s then I think my quota is filled and life can get back to normal.
@@JMB676 The worst news I've heard so far, your still going thru it! Sorry man, but I see your an optimist too. Looking for the good in spite of the bad...
@@mopedguy1064 lol, brother I been thinkin I’m looking older and older. Age is goin to catch everybody eventually but maybe if I make a faster bike I can stay out in front of it for a while longer lol.
Thanks for the ride. What's it like pulling a trailer? Do you have to be careful not to catch something or is it easy carefree riding, forget its there?
@@Paul_Gale hey thanks for commenting but for sure. You definitely need to be careful but usually only on turns. Also depending on how much you way and your bike weighs will be the factor if you feel it or not back there. I personally don’t feel it at all even on bumps unless I’m pulling more then 250 pounds in it or pulling a bike that keeps flipping over like in my recent short lol. But for me and all my bike and this particular trailer it is thinner then all my bikes handlebars. So if the bars fit then this trailer won’t be near anything. Now my other trailer I don’t ride much anymore is much wider and I do need to be careful with that cause it’s far wider but still easy to pull. Now as far as turn they never flip over cause I have only 2 wheel options and they are very stable. The only time it tips over on turns is when I’m pulling a trailer with a light bicycle hooked into my quickrelease front mount for towing bikes. So any normal load they don’t flip if it’s a 2 wheel variant. Hope that info helps and if your thinking about getting one they are always on facebook marketplace for free or cheap or new even but get one and use it they really make bike life so much easier.
My trailer is 34lbs and 10" wider. At my weight and 130lbs to refill my water jugs and sometimes disassembled bikes, the 52" bore engine do better pulling it. But recently I redid the axle on my Felt Faker bike with the max ported 80. It pulls it well but takes time to build speed. But trying to go over 30
@@MotorizedChuck well to be honest my first vids were all with my phone and about a year in I got a very old GoPro 3 silver and that was up till about last year maybe a few months before that and it worked great. If I can give advice whatever you get just make sure it’s a real GoPro brand old or new preferably a 5 or new is the best option for sure. They can be wireless and way easier to use. Also if you need any help just text me and I’ll do my best to help.
@MotorizedChuck just get an all new phone. You can get a good one cheap online or a new one cheap online. Do you go android or iPhone? I’m an iPhone guy but my wife uses android now.
@@Jarrod_D he has an old phantom cylinder or new one not used; I don’t remember to be honest now. Either way he said it’s good and he don’t want it so I asked if I could have it but it’s just a run around. To be honest it doesn’t matter to much to me cause now I have a real phantom and I can get all the stats from it and see how it runs compared to my motors and how much power they make in comparison. So I still want it cause I got mad yd100 cases just sitting but what I originally wanted for doesn’t matter now. So I’m not stressing it or putting much effort into it now.

@Roadscore thanks brother for sure. I am just so busy trying to figure out this new motor build and research for it but also so many other builds and repairs for local customers. It’s a lot and I’m just trying to to balance it all plus I don’t have any videos in que anymore really and the last build took longer then I wanted so I couldn’t edit it on time and had to jump ahead a video just to release one so the next one will be the video this one was supposed to be so to speak.
