  • So yes, the rumor is dead. I got this bus, I knew I was eventually going to own and take care of the bus.
    Now to answer some Q&As
Q: Do you really own the bus?
A: Yes, but I donated it to the Trolley Museum of New York. Bus Ownership (especially in today's economy), is really hard unless you got deep pockets or part of an organization. But who really does? The bus is still taken care fully by myself, but still get a support from the Museum (that's the power of a 501(c)3).
Q: Can you help me get a bus?
A: No. I don't need any more financial problems lmao
    Q:Can I see your bus?
A:I'm planning on bringing this bus out for a fan trip, I am also planning on taking this bus to Auto Shows as well. However, if you want to see it as soon as possible, the Trolley Museum of New York are open to the public (Admission is $8) April - September, Sat-Sun, Noon to 5PM. You can check out more at: www.tmny.org
Q: I want to give my bus support to your bus to see it keep running, where can I go donate?
A: You can come donate directly at the Museum, or the website. Since the bus is a fairly new museum collection, if you donate at the Museum's website, make sure you select other donations, and write down as Bus Donations. The money for it will go towards maintenance, insurance, and bus parts.
I will also create a GoFundMe page as well (stay tuned)
    Q: What are the Specs?
    A:
    1976 GMC T6H-4523A "New Look"
    Engine: Detroit Diesel 6V71
    Transmission: Allison VS2-6
There will be a Vlog coming up to why I choose this bus, and what significant important it has in the transit industry. I'll explain why is it worth so much to preserve as well.

just found this video from going on an internet rabbit hole about my old “school” buses! I probably rode this bus many times between 2009-2015 as my Jr/Sr high bus (we usually had the same driver each day, but the buses were either this one or a plainer fishbowl, or a newer bus with AC if we were lucky lol) - getting the “confetti” bus meant we’d at least have cushioned seats 😂

I'm jealous of the fact that you had a Fishbowl. These buses are part of my Dream Fleet for Vintage Buses.
