    Very nice tutorial,
    i have a question, is it possible to set some html code in settings.php page?
    for example buttons with action or maybe a table.

      I would check to see if any moodle built in settings help you, eg.
      $settings->add(new setting_button())
      for a button. You could use templates to render to the settings page but shouldn't need to do that except for an advanced case, probably better to have a separate page for that and leave the settings page alone

    Hello and thanks for this tutorial!
    What if you want to load the parent styles and add them your styles?
    I'm working not with Boost theme but with other based on boost, so I want to make a child theme of that other one and load its styles. Then, I will add other styles.
    Is it possible?
    Thanks so much

      Glad you enjoyed the video :) When you make a child theme you inherit all the styles and templates from the parent. You would not get styles that are just config in the theme settings though, you would have to copy them into your new theme config settings area.

      You can put normal css into an scss file and it will work the same
