What goes bad on them is the wheel itself. It has a very fragile 2 16th of an inch pieces of plastic off it that has the copper connector on it that rubs the panel. I know this isn't the best description but if you take apart you can fix it although who's to say how long it will work lol
Do you know if the dimmer controls the headlight too? My low beam on the drivers side won't turn on but high and turn signals work just fine. Not the bulb, not the fuse
Thank you so much, I have replaced my dimmer switch and it works. However, I have one question. Does the instrumental light stay on, even when I switch to "off"? I found in the manual that I can only control brightness when it is at either "tail light" or "headlight" position. I just bought this used car, so I don't know the ideal condition.
Tha dashboard lights are out in my 1996 Nissan Quest please help. And also my brake lights and regular lights are out in tha back. Please get back to me asap thanks.
Thank you for the detailed fix!!! It was driving me nuts. It's fixed now.
Dude thank you so, so much for the bridge idea. I couldn't afford to buy a switch so the bridge idea works perfect. thank you again.
Glad to hear it helped you out! Just make sure your jumper wire is thick enough so it doesn't get too hot.
Is the red and yellow wire the “hot” wire?
I just turned the switch on and it worked😂😂
Excellent video that really simplified the process. This lady really appreciates the work put into this particular video and so thank you.

I could him find the dim switch, like @Devin price said, I turned it on and it worked.

The 1999 Altima is a little different. Do you know how to access the switch? Are there screws holding the cover or just pressure clips?
How do i know what wires to jumper in a different car the wires are different
