Michael was always acting like a grown up taking care of his siblings. Chad has grown. I'm so glad that he had so many vets around him like Steve B, Maurice B, Laura W and DZ.
Chad jumped right into the fire with this storyline. It takes time. He's gotten better. He starting to remind me of Jason when he came out of the coma. Chad also plays a character that is layered. It has taken years to uncover these layers.
At first I thought chad was horrible but he got so much better and I like the new Michael he's more calm cool collected like jason not angry and violent like sonny
@stl29tide I read that one of the reasons they let Drew Garret go was due to the prison scenes including the rape. The garret wanted no part of it so they fired him. Chad Duell has improved in acting though since then. So thats a good thing.
CDs acting definitely got better as he went on and Michael actually tells the truth and everyone thinks he's lying to protect Sonny. Sonny's guilty of a lot of things just not this.
I think Drew was great as Michael, I wonder why he was replaced. But of course I love Chad Duell, too. I don't get everyone's issues with his acting in his early episodes, I think he's doing fine here. And I approve of Michael for standing up to that smug son of bitch (literally) (even though I love him currently) Dante

I started watching around 2009-2010. I didn't like or care for Michael until Chad took over. He made me fall in love with Michael.
This was Chad’s very first appearance as Michael.
"Jason couldn't kill him 'cause he would have turned those photos over to the cops." Um, there's a problem with that logic.
