I've always looked up to strong women. She was a great great woman. Young girls everywhere have a fantastic role model with Miss Harriet. I wish I could visit here. Thank you for highlighting her life. History Is important.💜

A mighty woman of Valour a woman of God, Brilliance ,Integrity focused with a non stopping determination to lead her fellow slaves to Freedom and to put an end to the horrific monstrous inhumane activity, forceably being held in captivity .Ms Tubman refused to except this and that her people will no longer endure the cruelty of slavery.. One my favorite Black History stories. Would love to visit her home just to feel the energy that I'm sure it upholds..

I just finished watching the movie Harriet. And I cried so hard. I cried in amazement of this great woman and her devoted life as a servant of God and his people. I also cried from being so sad that my people had to go through this horror. The scene at the end when she sings , while on the boat waiting for the slaves to come to the boat for freedom. And all those slaves started running for a life of freedom. I was so overwhelmed. It just broke my heart. Something's in life I just don't understand why we have to go through such things. It's hard for me to understand. I'm so glad this is not our story anymore. I pray that Harriet and all slaves are resting well in eternity getting the best rest ever. ❤

So glad this country is allowing a few of our true heroes during the civil war era to be recognized. I’m glad the daughters of the confederates can’t ban history on the Web! In school we teach our children that Robert E Lee was so awesome, though he sacrificed the lives of so many to stop our freedom. And though June 19th should be honored, but we bestow great honor to Lee who did his best to keep us slaves. And his devotees were able to keep Blacks down another century. To bad schools are only allowed to teach partial truth. But thank God for the Internet. And though Tucker/Fox News are ranting that teaching full history equates to hating Whites.

I think you’re confused. Harriet Tubman is a staple in schools, Robert e Lee, not so much. I say this as a Black Teacher of History. Tucker/Fox don’t want Critical Race Theory taught in school, as facts. It has the tendency to take over, manipulate, create victims and blame white people for everything and can be found in all subjects. History should be taught through multiple lenses. I say teach as many lenses as possible, not just one or two. Hence more than the extreme black and extreme white side. There are other people and races that have stories as well.
