Kinda wish even today UFC cards was always kept to 3 or 4 parallels after the base. They would cost more but atleast the cards would be more aligned with the demand
TCDB shows the Topps 2006 Allen and Ginter as the Randy Couture rookie. TCDB isn’t always correct though. I’ve bought a few rookies and found an earlier card of that fighter not listed. They didn’t have the 1995 BBM K-1 set on there until recently. So twenty of the rookies from the 1997 are not rookies but already had cards from two years prior.
I always forget about those a&g's I also kinda like thinking rookies should be a athletes first time on a card so if brockie has a football card or kayla has an olympics card than i like to think of that as their first card.

@@luke_mma_love yeah but some of the golds are pricey I got lucky with the Cain it was not labeled as gold ... for sure I want a raw Rogan and Dana to get signed one day .. I think for this set i will go for the rarer cards first
Im not suprised you were the one who picked that up. I bought the complete set of the original 100 fight posters from the same guy along with the complete set of Brad Utterstrum reprints. He had some amazing items he was letting go of. Stuff you might not ever see again.
Thats fantastic. I think some OG's are letting some stuff loose. These round 1 boxes and thecardfather going to shows and the like. I think a lot of stuff will end up slabbed and sitting on buy-it-nows but thats better than sitting in a closet never to be seen again. At least in my opinion.
lol pretty sure I lost that same set in bidding war 😂. Got the next and last one though if yours is from the same vendor. These cards are going to keep getting harder to get congrats on yours. I was pleasantly surprised with my set. My gsp and Rogan look great but definitely a steal for the set.

Thats the thing man. Modern latest and greatest is a fun gamble but it goes down in value not up. This stuff has all found its level and it might go down if the overall market goes down but its not gonna drop if a fighter loses a fight. Did you watch joescardstache video on it?

HA okay. so. The vast majority of my stuff is on ebay right now. I sold like three Round 2 golds in the last day. any Rd 1 stuff you saw in the last couple videos that you want get at me on IG with an offer. I will likely sub anything worth more than 40 bucks to PSA to flip it. the raw ones I will prob send to Comc to be the lowest cost listed on there so someone can snap em up.

Yeah the 20 parallel thing is a bit much. Five to 8 parallels would be amazing. Immac did that.

I concur. I have Dan Severn’s 1997 BBM “rookie” card, but also got his 90/91 Arizona State card as I feel that’s the true rookie.
