Everybody thinks I'm weird for liking the sound of crunching. Like, I actually find it relaxing when people eat chips loudly (as long as they chew with their mouths closed). Glad I'm not the only one.
I make this about every week all summer long. It's so delicious! If I don't have a Korean pear, an apple will do in a pinch. Pears are better, of course. I use buckwheat noodles, though, because bouncy bouncy is my favorite!
Definitely going to try this one! As it is a cold dish, I'm sure it is a perfect meal when the weather is hot Claire looks so happy when she tries it with the beef brisket! 😁
4T gochujang 1T sugar 2 T Korean pepper flakes 2 T corn syrup 1T soy sauce 2T vinegar ½ T minced garlic ½ t MSG 3T pineapple juice (or grated Asian pear. If neither use apple juice)
I pick which of your recipes I need to make right away with a scale called "The Claire MMmmm Scale"! Six Mmmms and you got a Wow too... Love your recipes, thanks for all you do!
Have tried a few recipes from Aaron and Claire…..absolutely fabulous each one, need more Korean food and food outlets in the U.K. people just don’t know what they’re missing….Korean food is *outstanding* !
after watching claire eat 2 bites from it, i made it in a rush. I didn't have half the ingredients, except for the sauce and the boiled egg. it's still so good
Today, I had noodles and I had gochujang. I knew Aaron and Claire would not disappoint me! I was curious to see what Claire would say about such a simple dish; she only proves to be a natural food critic one again.
You're the best Aaron! Thank you so much for giving us amazing dishes, providing us substitutions, giving us new ideas, etc! Congrats on the sponsorship! I hope you get many more!!
Another great recipe. I love the sense of humor between the two of you. You talk about Claire as being such a hangry bird, and sometimes she plays the part, but it's obvious that you two love each other very much. AND she always does the dishes, which is pretty fair. May the two of you have many, many years together keeping your sense of humor.
Just wanted to say that transition into the Nord VPN was an absolute killer, the best ad i've seen amongst content creators. Thanks for the awesome recipe :)
Please tell Claire I really appreciate her demonstrating how to eat the yummy things Aaron creates. European-style eating techniques do not translate well to oriental food. Love your channel. (It takes the fear out of learning new dishes.)
I’m definitely going to try this when summer comes! I’m addicted to gochujang! Lately I’ve been adding it to my homemade teriyaki sauce and cooking salmon and steak with it...
Again you came on the perfect time to the rescue!! I was in deep thought of what to do with the gochujang and again your video was to the rescue😂😂😂, thanks alott
We made this and it was DELICIOUS!!! We used Chadol, but if we want to use chicken thighs instead, how do we flavor it so that the flavors match with the noodles??
I can really relax while watching your videos. I am not that much into noodles but I still enjoyed this video, you both make me smile, thank you and keep going!
Friday has become my favorite day of the week because that’s when Aaron uploads a video ! 😊 I could never eat such a big bite like Claire does, she is the best !
You are adorable I love your sense of humor and your recipes! And of course you have the best "taste tester" and partner. Claire we love you to and thank you for your reviews and advice! Wish you health and happiness. 💝🙏💝
I made this for dinner tonight. Followed the recipe, at least as best I could. This is one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life. I say that without hyperbole.
Just made it without the gochugaru cus I ran out n I added peanut butter in mine n instead of corn syrup I used oligodang n it was gr8, thanks for the recipe
Rice syrup is better. Also, I always add a 1/2 cup of julienned kimchi (ripe) and and never use pineapple/pear. For veggies I use what’s always in my fridge: cucumber, sprouts, and lettuce.
WHY have I not been boiling my noodles this way??? I try and cook globally and Korean food is always my go to. So quick, easy, and soul nourishing. This'll be dinner tonight, thanks 😊.
i keep going back to watch more ov your videos. they’ve all been so stress free and wonderful. so i just bought a hard cover edition ov your book as well. i’m such a fan ov you and your charming wife!! keep it up! you two are wonderful. ❤
I'm going to try this dish I'm going out in the morning to pick up the ingredients and I will try for dinner I hope it comes out as good as yours thank you guys
OMG bro, I just made gochujang for my son and I for the first time using your instruction... 🤯 This will be a regular in my lunch box. Thank you sir. Love your videos. 👊😁👊
Honest question... What if someone you cook for doesn't like sesame oil? What is a good alternative? It is the sesame flavor my husband doesn't enjoy. It reminds him of peanut butter, he says. Thanks for any suggestions!
Yah! I LOVEloveLOve eating BiBim Guksu! I remember I crossed the Han River many years ago with my girlfriends & it was so hot outside & we ate these noodles & it was glorious & now I am watching this & Aaron you are making one of my favorite dishes to beat the heat from summer! Thank you! That 1st bite that Claire too, & the 2nd & the 3rd....made me drool! Yummy! Sending you big smiles from AZ! :)
Hello! Always nice to get notification! Yeah! Another recipe!! Do you have recipe for multigrain rice?? I've bought different rice and barley, red beans (azuki) just wondering how much of each. Thanks!! Happy to see you're being sponsored!
This looks awesome! But, it reminds me of a side I had at a Korean BBQ. It was squid, I think dried, in a little chili paste. I wanted a whole bowl of it! Can you show us how to make that?
I bought a tub of Gochujang paste the other day out of curiosity, didn’t really know what to do with it. Then this video came along like a gift from above 😄

What I love about this channel is that he always has alternatives for products to use. A lot of other channels don't bother with that.
Thank you for sayin that my friend! 👍😎
I agree! :)
It's the best! For every recipe, there are so many options.
Exactly :)
Exactly, and he gives you the essential ingredients! So if you don’t want to go to the store or don’t have the funds, you can still cook it!
I love when Claire reviews your dishes. She provides great descriptions and does it all while being cute ☺️. Love the teamwork.
Thank you so much for saying that! 😆🙏
Finally this channel is getting sponsored! You've earned it, Aaron and Claire, keep up the good work ❤
It was also such a clean transition that it didn’t feel that out of place! Good work y’all!
I love the crunchy sounds when Claire takes her first bite 🥰 So satisfying.

I didn't have any toppings on hand, but this sauce alone on the noodles is SO SO GOOD and refreshing. Aaron is the king of cheap, easy sauces.
Always love watching the Master at work & seeing Claire enjoy the "fruits" of his labor.❤❤
Always thank YOU for your sweet comment! 🤣😊

Didn't expect the smooth transition for the sponsorship right there. Congrats!
I'm not used to having ads in these videos. That segway caught me super off guard....just like how you should guard your internet with NordVPN.
