I have installed the batteries in keyboard and mouse. keyboard started working instantly but mouse does not work. When I insert the USB came along with keyboard and mouse, it did not show me any installing process. please guide me
+smart android tricks: Please try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. If that doesn't work, please change the batteries inside the Mouse. If that doesn't work, please check the connections inside the Mouse. That includes cracking the Mouse open and exploring for the damaged connections that causing the problem..
You can follow steps below to try resolving the problem. 1. Remove the unifying receiver and batteries for 5 seconds, this should be the first thing you try when your Logitech wireless mouse stops working, as this is easy to do and always works. This is to let the device understand the depth of the situation. The removing and then re-inserting the device would only act as a much needed restarter to the device.
2. Check if there is problem with the mouse driver, if there is problem with the mouse driver, the mouse won’t work properly. You can check for the driver status in Device Manager. If you are not sure how to go to Device Manager, the steps below may help. Since the mouse doesn’t work, use your keyboard. A). Press Win+R (Windows key and R key) at the same time. A Run dialog will appear. B). Type devmgmt.msc in the run box and press Enter key. Then the Device Manager window will pop up. C). Press Tab key to go to the device list and use the arrow key to locate category Mice and other pointing devices. Press Alt + right arrow keys together to expand the category (If you want to close the category, press Alt + left arrow keys.). You will see Logitech mouse under this category. If you see there is a yellow mark next to the device, there is problem with the driver. In this case, use arrow key to locate the Logitech mouse device, then press Shift + F10 keys to open context menu. Select Uninstall, then reboot the system. After reboot finishes, Windows will detect the mouse automatically. 3. If your mouse occasionally works, you can use Driver easy to update drivers in your computer. Driver Easy will auto detect all problem drivers including the mouse driver in your computer, then download and install the right drivers. 4. Change USB port, the problem caused might be due to broken USB port issue. Plug the USB unifying receiver into another USB port to see if the problem resolves. 5. Replace the batteries, the wireless mouse relies on AA alkaline batteries for power. Remove the batteries, and then inset them again. If the problem persists, replace the batteries.
6. Try using the mouse on a different surface. Electrical items and metal items may interfere with the signal of the mouse. Keep the mouse and the receiver away from the electrical items such as cordless or cellular telephones or other wireless mouse devices or receivers. Do not put the mouse or the receiver on metal surface or objects, especially long metal rails or cables.
7. Try the mouse on a different computer. This will help determine if the mouse is dead. If the mouse works on another computer, the device is working properly. If the device does not work on another computer, you can consider replacing the mouse.
Ravz Riding: Hi.. thanks for checking out our videos and dropping in a comment, please consider Subscribing as well. Coming to your question.. Yes, at least with Logitech products, you can buy a replacement receiver and, even better, Logitech Unifying receivers are designed to manage the connection for six or seven wireless Logitech products at a time so long as the products are also marked with the orange Unifying logo. I even had a unifying receiver already - it came with a wireless keyboard and touchpad that I picked up a little while ago. If you don’t have an extra receiver, however, you can still get one on Amazon.com and, as of this writing, they were marked down to around $10 which is a bit less than a brand new mouse and keeps you from trashing the one you already have. Once you have a unifying receiver, the next step is to get it to recognize your existing mouse or keyboard. For this, you need to download the free Unifying Software from Logitech’s site. Once the software is installed, just start the program and follow the prompts. The device you’re connecting should have an ON / OFF switch. The software looks for wireless connections and when it sees one restart, it recognizes it as the one you want to connect. The unifying software also enables you to manage the devices you currently have connected to a receiver and remove connections if needed. An animated display even indicates the device you’re currently using. Here’s the catch - a mouse can only be paired with one receiver at a time so if you pair a mouse with a Logitech unifying receiver, it will no longer work with its original receiver, should you still have it. It is possible to reconnect the two, however, by downloading Logitech’s Connection Utility Software. This utility functions much like the unifying software; it requests that you turn the mouse off and on again so it can detect the signal and then asks you to verify that the mouse is working again. This would also imply that you might be able to use this utility to connect a Logitech mouse to a non-unifying receiver other than the one it originally came with which might be handy for someone working on a helpdesk with some extra mice and receivers lying around. Hope this helps, all the best!
+Tedi Mulyadi : Hi, yes it will work in BIOS Mode once the system installs the drivers. First connect it to PC and let it install the drivers (it does the same automatically). Then boot the system into BIOS Mode, that's it it will recognize without a problem..

Piece of shit keyboard. Lags, many keytaps missing, double or triple duplicated words due to lag. It's that bad I just wanna smash it into half right now. And I only had the receiver around 3 feet from the keyboard and it's still so bad. While typing this, words failed me around 4 times with 3 double entries. You'll lose bigtime if used for gaming. Not cheap too, logitech? Shame on you
