Thanks for the review. I can't wait to get the weight stack version when they release the extended routing.

Thanks for doing a video. You’re only the 2nd person I know of on RUclips that covered this. I think unless I can figure out a clean way to mount to my rack I’ll just end up with Titan selectorized lat tower

The prime fitness single stack is on my wishlist unless something better comes along.

The reason you had to make a hole for the weight selector rod on the bottom is the same reason the cable seems "shorter" and gives a better stretch - without the 5 plates that you are missing everything sits lower on the stack/cross beam. Add the 5 plates and the selector rod will not bottom out on the cross beam. That will also make the stack taller, making the cable feel "longer" and you may not get the extreme stretch you were talking about when you were referencing the cable length.

u are correct sir... thanks for pointing that out, however...it will still be slightly shorter than the other cable, making it better for getting that extra stretch at the top.... but I didn't actually have to make that hole at the bottom.... But as the plates still haven't arrived... I'm glad I did or else the center rod would be raised up and it wouldn't function properly right now.

Great video, I like how you get into the details of the build, and what you do to make it work.... my gyms is super small too, every spare inch matters :P

    Great vid.
Waited for the slinger but Rogue Australia is not as great as Rogue US (only carries monster lite series and rarely brings in new products)
Happy with what I settled with anyway. Cheers

Cool video. This is the first time I’ve seen a setup like this tbh. Great for space saving. I think what would be cool, rather than just a hi and low pulley. You could attach an adjustable pulley to the rack up right, utilising the holes.

Can you please do a video on how you did your set up at the end? I am interested in doing it the way you have it as my home gym is 10x11 and being able to fold it in like you have will truly help me! Thank you

Hi, I've seen your adjustable lat/row device do you like it and worth the high price?

I have the plate loaded and the weight stack. I don’t think the plate loaded wire is longer but the additional carabiner and length of plate pin make it “longer”. I prefer then weight stack cable “length” better as well. The worst part about the plate load to me is getting the carabiner off and on the plate load. Difficult. The carabiner needs resizing.

Hey - I can't find the video where you walk through your single-post swing mount setup. Can you link it back here? I'm using a 390Full (four post, swing rack) and considering the plate load system to not get in the way of squatting, etc... so looking at options

what jigsaw did you use to cut the steel and plastic? Please give me the model name, I'm thinking building the same mod but on a half rack.

Excellent review and a good bit of custom engineering 👍 is there an easy way to set up for tricep pushdowns?

    • @aaronbonallo3648

It’s already at a pretty good length if you have the long tricep extension rope…. But if it’s too short, just use a chain to extend to the desired length.

How long did it take to arrive from the time you placed the order? Hoping is not 3 to 6 months like the stand alone version.

I got mine locally (the stack) ... but to get the extra 5 plates I was missing took 2 months! I would expect lengthy shipping times due to the state of the world right now.

Aaron, good review, thanks for posting it. You’re getting jacked dude. I see why you had to present sleeveless, you probably busted the sleeves out of your other shirts 😀

You ever figure out how to keep guide rod straight? Noticed that with mine (when my gf trains with me) depending on the movement..Tricep push downs or lat pulldowns even at 30 lbs it’ll try and hit.

You keep the guide rod straight by buying a rogue rhino.

my buddy Jason @man_who_parks_in_gym has a cheap fix on Instagram... i never ended up really having a big problem with it, so I never fixed it, but i might try it in the future.
