Opening it was a total PAIN! The instruction sheet sucks. In the past I've owned 4 Takkinas and gifted 10 because I liked them so much and they were a great value. That was before the re-design.

Opening the battery compartment is virtually impossible on the one that I bought. Maybe it's a production error but this is a joke.

Push gently from the rubber side at the back and lift from the front, it will open. I also struggled with 2 pieces purchased today.

My Tikka plus will only keep the red light on.
If I turn it from red to white it will turn to red on its own.
If I turn it on in the white, the red led will flash a couple of times and after a couple of seconds it will turn from white to red
No way to keep it on the white light
