As a life long “educator” who loves Socrates…… in a classroom while instruction is going on, a child who is being disruptive, may need to be asked to leave ( maybe seen as punishment) so that the lesson may be taught. The discussion with that child does have to take place but repetitively stopping a lesson to reason with a disruptive student is not good for the class. “What’s bad for the hive is bad for the bee” Disruptive behaviors hurt all in the classroom….. I love Soc but I believe he was “teaching” outside where the youth were free to come and go
Genius beyond comprehension.
