@@maikopskoy oh eh you posted this a month ago but here’s an explanation- okay so existentialism is really just sparkly nihilism in my opinion, it’s the belief that “sure nothing matters but I can derive my own meaning from the cosmic indifference of existence.” And he’s kind of poking fun at this overtly optimistic belief in an inherently dark subject. Plus (this is really just my beliefs on existentialism) existentialism is really just a backtracking of beliefs, it admits nihilism but then says you can extract objective meaning from the inherent subjectivity of what you enjoy. Which in my opinion is just putting nihilism aside to say okay whatever I believe what I believe.

Emma Hinchliffe True I love Sheldon but Reid has mentors and people to show him how to empathize. Gideon is as smart as him and showed him how to be better while understanding him. The only person who did that was Penny and a little Amy which is how we see so much change from him in season 1.

Sheldon Coooper becomes less Robotic the longer he is exposed to his friends. he doesnt need to be re assured in his work because he already knows he is the best, Sheldon needed more reassurence in his personal relationships.
