For everyone wondering why the triplets car seats are forward facing, here’s why. We unsuccessfully attempted to install the seats rear facing multiple times. Unfortunately, they just wouldn’t fit. The top of the car seat hits the seat in front it, not allowing us to properly install it rear facing. We then read the Diono Radian 3rxt owners manual which states : • Forward-Facing: 20-65 lbs (9.1-29.5 kg) and whose height is 57 inches (144 cm) or less. All of the babies are 20+lbs and according to Diono, considered safe for front facing. Thank you all for your concern. Our babies safety is our #1 priority and we wouldn’t put them in harms way. Although, we would feel most comfortable with rear facing car seats, so if anyone can suggest another car seat that fits side by side, rear facing, in a Ford Transit we’d greatly appreciate it.
TheGradFam were you using the detachable rear facing base? Some Diono’s come with them but most you have to buy separately. Diono also makes a rear facing base to help with this problem I definitely recommend finding a CPST in your area to help you. I’m So sorry for taking my frustration out on you this morning for not having them rear facing I’ll delete me previous comments.

Did you try the Diono angle adjustor? For rear facing. You install the car seat (with the rear facing plastic attachment) and then push the foam pad angle adjuster under the car seat, it lifts it up and gives you a few more inches of space front to back. They are cheap and you can order on amazon.
Love the van, & your kids are gorgeous!! They've grown so much. 😊 I've seen some people with the Transit vans have luck getting Chicco carseats to fit rear facing. Or maybe something like a Graco Milestone or slimfit if you're trying to maximize on space. A CPST may be able to help you find a solution for those sweet girls. 😍.
I know you’re trying to do what’s best for your babies. These seats don’t fit in your vehicle. Diono allows no overhang forward facing so you can’t even use them this way. If you really want some good answers you need to see a certified car seat technician. You can also post your question on the face book page car seats for the littles.
I have 4 kids an love this van. As a mama that has more then two kiddos I always kept plastic bin in the car one in the back for change of Clothes and diapers if I forget the diaper bag an snacks an drinks just to have it

You can try adding a little rice cereal or whatever type they like to the mango? Our son needed it a little thicker because of reflux. Love the van! Enjoy the freedom of being able to get out with the family! That extra seat for Mommy is awesome!

We got a Ford Transit 350 too. Bought it in February when we moved back to the US. We love it very much too! It is white, medium roof, with sliding door. We wanted grey, but it's okay. It had everything else we wanted, so we're happy! Can't beat the price compared to Mercedes, like you said Oni. You guys now need a road trip to Missouri once the new baby comes and is a bit older😉

I love, love large families and am thankful God has blessed you with the health and all that is needed to be able to bear them and raise them. Children are often more sensible and wise when raised in a large family with loving parents. Not so much entitlement mentality. I feel like they need bigger spoons to make you job easier, Also you can get frozen mango and blend it up wait till it’s not cold anymore and feed it to them , I feel like it would be less liquid . They are beautiful!!!

I know it’s difficult trying to figure out seats I have 5 and we use a Chevy suburban it may work better to try a more compact seat to rear face the babies the most compact front to back is the graco extend2fit they may not be able to all be in the same row but they should definitely for rearfacing 😁 I had a diono and loved the slim design but has the same problem trying to rearface and had to get something else until my son was older maybe move your 2 oldest into the dionos so you get the most slim forward facing use out them 😁

Congratulations on your new car! Just a suggestion though, the triplets really really should be sitting in their car seats rear facing! Especially since they were premature and are tiny for their age. Those Diono car seats CAN be installed rear facing. it’s the safest for them. Even Sammy at 24 months should still be rear facing. Please consider this.
@@mindysmith8078 honestly it's different laws everywhere,the triplets are strapped in correctly and have the right support to me, even though we might do something different ourselves it is their choice, in so happy to see more videos recently 😁

I truley think its worth it to try and find seats that can rearface for another year at minimum. We have a much smaller car and got the $50 cosco seat from Walmart. Its so cheap we got one for my hubby and both grandparents car...its just as safe as expensive seats and my kids both were more comfy than in the more expensive seat we got. It might meet the minimum safety requirements but its not whats recommended and not the most safe.
Just watched this lovely vlogg. Out of interest you have your babies forward facing. Here I. The uk it’s been discovered that babies under 15 months are much safer rear facing until this age even in gentle braking the necks are at risk.
I hate saying this, but look into the reason they now say babies should stay rear facing until they can no longer fit. If there was an accident, their little necks aren't strong enough to protect them. Love you guys!

Michigan law states babies under 2 must rear face. So if the dionos don’t fit they need new seats. Its hard and expensive but it could literally save their lives.
Several years ago I had one of my granddaughters with me in my car at the time she was 8 months old well praise the Lord my daughter was very picky at how her children were fastened in because I was rear ended very hard and she screamed I knew my granddaughter had to be hurt I jumped out to see how bad she was hurt and because my daughter had her in the car seatbackwards facing and the chest clip was where it belonged all my granddaughter got was scared and a tiny belt bruise and the police officer even said wow grandma im glad to see you had the car seat rear facing I said I never strapped her in my daughter. did. Im not sure about the law in Indiana but I know my daughter never had car seat facing forward until they were 2

You can add baby cereal to the babyfood to make it thicker! It is a life saver.

They replied to a comment saying they are all over 20 pounds and is safe for them to sit this way
They are supposed to sit facing forwards now anyway. If they lived in Australia by law they would of as they are over 6 months old.

I looked for a long time to find a grey one. We absolutely love it!

Michigan law states babies under 2 must rear face. So if the dionos don’t fit they need new seats. Its hard and expensive but it could literally save their lives.
Several years ago I had one of my granddaughters with me in my car at the time she was 8 months old well praise the Lord my daughter was very picky at how her children were fastened in because I was rear ended very hard and she screamed I knew my granddaughter had to be hurt I jumped out to see how bad she was hurt and because my daughter had her in the car seatbackwards facing and the chest clip was where it belonged all my granddaughter got was scared and a tiny belt bruise and the police officer even said wow grandma im glad to see you had the car seat rear facing I said I never strapped her in my daughter. did. Im not sure about the law in Indiana but I know my daughter never had car seat facing forward until they were 2
