What pisses me off is the people that speak badly of this island such as Lanzagrotty!!?? Seriously?? I mean, have they looked at the towns, the cities and some of the beaches in the Uk? Lanzarote has done much to upgrade and improve over the past few years too. Love it, and I dearly miss it. 👍😎

It's my favourite island. The resort's are fairly relaxed and not too built up like some in Tenerife and gran canaria. I do like gran canaria especially though. Puerto del Carmen is fantastic. I thought it was going to be rowdy with loads of looky looky men but it surprised me when I first went. I like to walk from Los pocillos to Puerto Calero and stop in Puerto del Carmen on the way there and back. Good walk but I always get the ferry back from Puerto Calero.

The reason that I asked was that I know that the palm trees in Los Angeles CA are not indigenous and I wondered if that was the case here. Apparently it’s not! Here’s some more information on the subject en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_canariensis Thanks again!
