I always listened to your grandfather while I was in the hospital for seven months I was told I'd never walk again and I'm still walking and I'm in my 60s and this happened when I was 24 they never thought it even live 24 hours. I even stopped breathing for eight minutes. Then I was able to watch TV after I got out ICU and I found your grandfather he was a lifesaver for me. And thank you for today's message. I'm struggling with feeling inadequate. Eventhough I own my home I feel like it's not big and nice enough and the same with my car. My heart tells me to be thankful but my mind is holding me back.
I find Philippians 4; 11-13 to be both comforting and challenging. (I myself have lived "in plenty", and later in life, "in need") Paul finishes off this statement with, "I can do all things through him who gives me strength." I pray that God will give you His strength, and that you may sense it, regardless of your life's circumstances. Because, regardless of life's circumstances, you're never inadequate to God. God bless.
