Mark Lowry is a great comedian. He can make people laugh and doesn't use cuss words to do it. Mark is also a great Christian singer. He has so much love for God and others.

Mark Lowry was the only comedian we watched growing up. He really helped me understand my brother's ADHD. He was a hero to me then and he's a hero to me now.

I've loved hearing this guy for YEARS! This is one of his best!
Yes, Mark did write the lyrics to "Mary Did You Know", but he wrote them to go with a play at his church. They were interspersed between the scenes of the play. No music, just spoken. It took 10 years for it to become a song, when Buddy Greene put music to the lyrics. Now the song is a classic. I still have trouble wrapping my head around Mark's goofiness and the spirituality of this song, but that's how God works; He uses each of our gifts in various ways.
Amen aven something that was with Mark from childhood that the enemy meant for bad God turned the good he's just awesome and people think it's Goofy and how can he be talking about Jesus and act so goofy because that's how he gives it that's how he presents it and people relate to that
Also Michael English was the first person to sing it!

Even for an Aussie, this is funny. His accent, his connections and audience engagement are impressive. He has some good 'saves' when a gag fails. It's great visual, and aural comedy.
1st time hearing this. I lived in Texas for 3 very very long years. I used to laugh when I'd see a person without a helmet. You can laugh so hard, with Mark!

My aunt just sent me this video. My husband and I laughed so hard. Never heard of him until now. Love his humor. Some people today with all their political correctness might not and thats a shame.

I laughed until I cried! This was so funny!
My 14 year old grandson with Cerebral palsy has surgery this coming Friday , Someone at school dropped him and his hip came out of its socket and broke. The first surgeon wanting to just leave it and the second wanted to remove his entire hip saying, he can't walk anyway.............so his leg would just dangle how cruel is that ? Attitudes of the disabled. The next had empathy and passion and doing surgery.
I thought that was horrible,,,some people need compassion and Empathy,,,I am so sorry for you an your son,,,God Bless you and Yours,,,,

"i'm so thankful i'm a Baptist because you guys would have gone to hell for the things i said." that was me when i cut my leg open. now friends i am a peaceful person but let me tell you exactly what happened so you can understand my situation. after around thirty minutes of sitting in the waiting room with a giant gash in my left knee and blood dripping down my leg and throbbing in pain, i finally get called in. the doctor gets out a tube of this white cream and says "i'm going to put this on the wound it'll numb the cut. it takes a little bit to kick in. in the mean time i'm going to go check in on the other patients. i'll be back after its numb and we can get started." i said well, alright. thirty minutes later. "ok the cream has officially come into full effect." thirty more. "well hes a little late but its still numb so no harm no foul." yet another thirty minutes. "okay! ITS WEARING OFF!! ITS WEARING OFF!! OW, OW, OOOOOWWWW!!!" he finally rushes in and from the look on his face i realize one simple fact: HE FORGOT ABOUT ME!!! then he proceeds to sew me up anyways sans numb! it took both my parents and a large male nurse to hold me down because i felt everything!! tears streaming down i started screaming words no lady should ever allow to leave her parted lips!! that doctor looked at me like i was possessed by Satan himself!!

I can relate! I had a cyst removed from the back on my neck years ago. The doctor said he numbed it with lidocaine but I think they must have been out and substituted with water! He cut a two inch incision in my neck and began digging to remove the cysts pocket. I felt EVERYTHING from the removal to the stitches! To top it all off, he didn't get the entire pocket and it came back, yet again, a year later. I had a different Dr remove it. Never felt a thing and it never came back. Yay!! (That was actually in 1999. It had to be lanced every year for 20 years prior to that.)
