If you could squeeze in another 5 minutes out of that 4 hours, the Varrock museum kudos questions can get you 9 hunter/slayer. Its one of those early things to do thats pretty valuable for your time spent
A few tips that could shave off some extra time in exchange for little extra cash... 1) Buy a few house tabs and do this on a house party world for some extra teleport variety and to restore your run energy with the ornate pool (you need to speak to an estate agent to unlock construction first) 2) Buy a couple rings of recoil at the start for extra damage with witches house 3) Buy some magic potions for witches house and/or just keep some regular combat potions on you when fighting because they are both super cheap 4) Buy a few stamina potions so that you can stay running the entire time. (It is kinda expensive and it doesn't save a LOT of time but walking is the worst and it makes the quests feel longer and slower) 5) Do the Varrock museum mini quest thing under the museum for level 9 hunter and level 9 slayer. Takes about 5 minutes or so 6) **This one is only for players with some startup cash ** Buy about 160 dragon bones and take them to a house party world. This will cost around 350k (which is nothing if you pick up on this mans flipping skills). Use them all on a lit gilded altar inside a players house. This will take 5-10 minutes but after you do holy grail you will have all 3 protection prayers unlocked which is a HUGE help for basically everything in the game. IMO its a worthwhile investment Hope this helped some people
@@bobschiebel3325 I personally use wyvern bones but I don't think it matters so much for those lower levels. It's a matter of a few inventories. Although if you're trying to save every minute and get this done as fast as possible that is a better alternative.
You can skip addy weapons entirely by doing Tree Gnome Village and Fight Arena, which can be flinched and safespotted respectively, with just fire strike. Gets you to 40 attack.

@@milesgussin5274 well I've been TRAINING my RUNESCAPE ACCOUNT with QUEST GUIDES from FlippingOldschool's RUclips channel. I've actually considered making a Slayer only account (Slayzylock) , and I've been researching which OSRS quests that will be the most beneficial to figuring out how to super level. This is exactly the type of video I needed, so I'm pretty excited on the great timing of this guide. Also, FlippingOldschool has helped me so much with the OSRS passive income. In 07scape, I used to merch Full Saradomin Set's. So when I started playing OSRS, I'm glad I found a way to make money flipping through the Grand Exchange. Anyways, I love this channel, and once I get a tighter hold on my budget, I will definitely become a YT member!
Another thing that @FlippingOldschool can do is start adding hashtags to his videos. That can signal to us which words he wants the algorithm to associate with his content.
I did those on my Iron man with a training/shortbow for the early ranged exp too. Camp the imps outside south Fally gate. Took maybe 10 mins. The quest dialog is way funnier if you have all 4 beads before you talk to him too.
Instead of beginning this quest set at 1 magic you can always just go and do Imp Catcher and Witch's Potion in like 2 minutes and get 10 magic straight off the bat. You can also safespot all forms of the bosses in Witch's House by using a luring method that B0aty and others have showed off before to "corner trap' them. Not that it will be that needed with higher magic to start and an inventory of food.
This is making me consider playing Runescape again. I haven't played Runescape in over six years. I've been watching lots of OSRS videos recently, mostly challenges. However I'm concerned it only looks fun due to nostalgia and editing out the grind in videos.
I constantly refer new players in osrs groups to this video when they say they're fresh and ask what to do. Super great guide that gives new players a taste of what's to come.
A version for this year would be nice or of similar style video. I am back in osrs after like 15 years and so much new content is overwhelming so a efficient guide to lvl and money make would be nice.
I always do Cooks Assistant and Sheep Shearer together, and then The Restless Ghost and Rune Mysteries together, and while I’m in Varrock I do Romeo and Juliet for extra points.
You should've done Imp Catchers and Witches Potion before doing Witches House. They both give magic exp and each take the same amount of time as Dorics Anvil.
nice video as usual. I was thinking about a possible osrs f2p video. Everything you can do in f2p. like all bosses, and everything else that inst a quest or a skill. also like the different special items like the book and scepter used for teleporting that a normal person wouldn't know to wiki/google. I am one of these people that would love to know everything i could do in f2p. That way i could feel like ive beaten f2p and can move onto being a member. Then there could be one for member content but that would be a long aaa video. Anyway Cheers!
i think you should include the new miniquest in the varrock construction estate. gives more than enough xp to get past level 5 without doing any grinding, and gives some supplies (and 1k, reimbursing buying your starter house)
For another like, hour of play you can do Murder Mystery, Making History and the Varrock museum quiz. This'll net you 1K Slayer, Prayer and Hunter XP, as well as 2406 more crafting XP.
Yes? you can get it by looting Pkers that hes does STATE in the video and takes around 30mins. How about you watch the video and listen before come here to make complete fool out of ureself.
You could have started the video with buying one of each bead and a necklace of passage and go to wizards tower and turn that in and bam! Instantly 8 magic

Early slayer/hunter is pretty brutal, that makes it a lot easier
You beat my to it.
Yeah this
I'd like to see a follow up video with this and some other quests
Totally agreed, instantly went to the comments to see if someone had mentioned this
completely unrelated but why does the OSRS community have some of the most soothing voices out of all the game communites
It's the back drop music :)
what you dont get in graphics you get in voices.

Wyvryn bones. Not most cost effective but defiantly quicker

lmao same
a sugestion: before tackling witchs house you could do the quest witchs potion or imp catcher so you can kill the bosa without the need for training
Especially since Imp Catcher is just travel time and ~6k GP

This is really useful for begining players.
The knights sword is essential for beginner smithing xp. no combat required but you do have to run past some high level monsters.
Thanks for this video! Sure helped!

Dragonfruit pies are C R A Z Y underrated :O
Should have done Jungle Potion to cut down on the herblore training before Digsite.

Simple and easy and OG
Only other things I would of thrown in for a decent starter account with 5 hours of play: Varrock Mini Museum, Sea Slug
Bro that acc would be great for a zerker build
You should add the museum quiz too
I never realised how good quest were for xp
Sadly most of them are P2P. though F2P notably has knight's sword (MVP quest for smithing), and witch's potion/imp catcher for early magic.
Thank you
Do a video on what the account will look like quests only no training
Not really a quest i guess, but what about the museum thing that gives you 9 slayer and hunter? super quick.
New video from 'sirPugger'... found a new bot farm today who do a bunch of quests.
Is there an updated guide like this for 2023?
You should do a video for someone who is a new account and starts with no gold
That’s so helpful! No more hitting cows for 4 hours hitting 0s😂 thanks👌
Hi, what’s the runelite plugin you use to change the character animations and improve the frame rate?
It's called animation smoothing.
Perhaps do Holy Grail before Fremnik Trials? For the defence*
Cool vid bro
But the revenants should be moved to the far corners of the wilderness and have random spawns, as the great 25 buttholes said.
@FlippingOldschool Do you have future plans for this specific account? What kind of build is this going to be used for?
maybe fun to do the same but without the quests, see how long it takes to do it the 'normal'way

There aren't any account builds , just the road to max (obviously i'm talking about main , PvM accounts , not PvP)
Change my mind
???
Any maxed main -- player needs a life
Pvp is for the fun, not for the gp or flex.
there can be many different type of account builds, this one is just a fast progression one.
