A couple of takes for me on this topic: 1. Lean on me no be press me down oh 2. They are not helping you because it is convenient for them rather because they want to. You shouldn't wait till it's convenient for you to reciprocate because they also need help. 3. Moving to Calgary was our game changer. The support from our people was amazing and still is. 4. And it doesn't take long before you become someone else's shoulder to lean on. 5. The fact that you have people there doesnt even mean they will help you kikikikikiki. Build your community quickly but carefully.
Hi Barby, quite an interesting vlog as usual. Like you rightly pointed out, one of the reasons of choosing a place to settle is having a friend or family in that area. However, that's only if the person or people are willing to play that supportive role.
Yeah…and l acknowledge that too. It’s just a pointer to everyone to be a person that someone else can lean on. We can be each other’s angel and support system. Pay it forward. God will keep helping us.
@@BarbysDiary the key phrase is indeed "paying it forward". When we all be the change that we desire, the world will be a lot better for all. May we all receive help when we need it most and also not leave a bad taste in the mouth of our helpers which could invariably stop them from extending further help to people.
You talked about some locations have high opportunities for some Job roles. Can you do a video on that? It's just to know some provinces with high demand of jobs and other opportunities tooo around aside from the high demand of Jobs. Thank you
Nice vlog, it's a huge blessing to have a support system........ my family and I are blessed to have built a family and support system here, coming to Lethbridge we knew nobody just a few friends who are new students just like my husband but God grace and favour connected us to wonderful people who open their homes and heart welcomed us and made settling in a lil bit smooth for us, my husband and I were both brought up in Accra, got married and moved to rural area because of work and we love the rural vibe hence as choosing Lethbridge, came with e kids in February and so far we are enjoying calmness of the city...... have a blissful weekend😊🙏
Thanks so much for checking on me. I’m totally fine by the grace of God. Just been busy with other things. I try to drop short videos as that’s the best l can squeeze in for now. I appreciate the checkup 😊
Having a support system is very good, just imagine coming to a country where you don't know anyone, it's going to be difficult adjusting. Thank God for the support system you got.
Hey Barby, you are giving us reasons to consider Edmonton. Ottawa is where we are considering because we don't really have anywhere in Canada. Please if we decide to make Edmonton home....We will be delighted to lean on you....We will greatly appreciate if you will handhold us when that time come
It’s like l’ve put myself in real trouble with this post oh 😂😂😂 my dm and email are full! Happy to help as much as l can. I’ll love for you to know your “why” first. What’s your outlook for the future? Job? Family? Income? Career path? There’s a lot to consider… Please keep in touch. Let’s discuss.
