Aww man being a single father to a 13 year old this hits home so strong. I don’t know what I’d do without her in my life.
I remember my dad making me feel like nobody could ever love me like him. He always made me feel so special and important. A fathers love is so very important because it teaches us so much. ( thank you Daddy) cancer took my dad back in 2008. 4 months later cancer took my husband and my daughter had to grow up without her dad which still breaks my heart, but she’s grown now, very strong and found a husband so much like her dad. I was a single parent to her after we lost her dad, but I’m glad she was old enough to remember him. I thank god she found a good man. Being a single parent is hard but I know you are doing great. God bless you good sir. I feel in my heart your both gonna be okay. I sometimes wish mine was still at home because being alone now is so much harder than I thought it would be. My father had a stroke last 2019. Half of his body is paralyzed so he's bedridden and I've been taking care of him since then. I love him so much and I don't know what to do without him. I lost my dad in a motorcycle accident in 2014 and not to sound weird or woo-woo but I think he “sent” this to me in a way. I never listen to this kind of music but it came up on my front page suggestions and I clicked on it. He used to tell me he messed up a lot but the one thing he did right was me, just like in your song. Same with seeing my big brown eyes when I was a baby, so much in this song sounded just like him. My whole life is changing in so many ways right now and things are just a little uncertain, when I’d normally lean on him for support so this came to me at just the right time. Our relationship was never perfect but I knew I could count on him for anything and he loved me unconditionally. 💕 Thanks for sharing this with all of us. It’s truly made my night.

Such a beautiful song that it brought me to tears. I could feel the love and made me miss my daughter who passed away suddenly in my arms on Christmas 2020. Exactly one month after just turn 12. She was my first baby and had brown eyes with curly brown hair too. I miss her every day!
