I really enjoy this figure and its far more successful than I thought it would be. Have all 6 on my desk right now, finished painting the heads to remove the light piping, will be doing the eyes after work.
@@DavidRCelebrezze probably a metallic orange gundam marker, if that doesn't work out i'll be using tamiya acrylics and doing a metallic silver base with a translucent orange top coat.
Another hole in one with Cang Toys, great materials, overall engineering, sculpt, paint, look in all modes and price. I'm really glad I got into this combiner and I can't wait to finish it, I'm really hopping it works as well in combined mode. Thanks for the review Mr. Skullface.
Got mine thunderking, put together last weekend looks great ! Just getting him to stand was a challenge, end up using velcro on the feet, had feet slightly wrong. still a good buy
He looks good. I can't wait for the mini legends scale predaking. I've been waiting a long time for them to come out and were finally seeing painted pictures. I hope they are half as good as these master piece ones. Great video thanks again as always.
Monkey business happening here 😅. Initially this set was a no when it was first announced but after seeing the quality of the bots ( paint, build, and die cast material) went all in. Even with monkey pants. Best case scenario you get a big imposing combiner and when Zeta decides to release their Predaking it will have that G1 feel that fans have wanting. Talk about a slowwww drip. I feel like this set consists of 5000 figures and there's always yet another one being released, and that they're actually just the same figure over and over. And they're still not finished? Remember when the G1 show was airing, when they started putting this set out? I miss being a child.
I got mine a month ago. I just got Hugerhino a week ago and did videos on it and the full Thunderking video of putting him together. Hey Bobby I have started doing a transformer toy Trivia videos where I ask what's the toys name and what company made it . I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinion. I have over 3000 transformer and plan on doing them all . Thanks Freakenstein

Yeah that part of the transformation is unique and new. Never seen it done before. The engineering that goes into these 3rd party transformations is mind blowing sometimes.
@@jaws666 Some of the most solid I've handled, like Bobby has noted in his reviews. Have to wait for the last bot to come in before I can really comment on the stability of the combined mode, specifically how well the pants and torso stay locked together.
One of the few times I'm glad I called it quits on the set. To each their own but all these extra members start to get ridiculous. As for its combined mode,it's size is impressive but too busy as in a "WTF am I looking at!??" Que in the _"iTz NOt SUppOsE tO bE GeEEwUnNN"_ comment 😆
This turned out to be one of my favorite figures in this set. As a figure it’s surprisingly good despite the fact that nobody knows who he is. I think it would’ve been great for each of these Cang Toys bots to release with a comic, so we could at least have some more info. No origins…just vibes.

All of these cang toys bots remind me a LOT of Zoids when in beast mode.
kind of hard not to in any mechanical animals unless then soften any hard edges like they did with beast wars transmetals.

They could have changed very little about the sculpt and made it a bear, and I think that would fit the team better

Love the way the hips slide up into the torso for monkey pants mode, can't wait to get the last piece of this set in and put it all together.
