Came for the potatoes, stayed for the storytelling. I am enjoying the pace and approach you are taking with this.
A rags to riches type campaign can feel a bit rushed since if you are making it for an audience, they will want to see progress, progress, progress, and not necessarily the slow burn. From my own, personal experience with FS, a greenhouse and producing more silage will definitely lead to lots of income. I also think your large haul of potatoes would do the same once it comes time to sell them off.

@@eduardopena5893 thankyou kindly! That's actually one of the reasons I didn't want to label this as a challenge per se or rags to riches type thing, because then I'd be actively looking for ways to get money fast to build up and "win" so to speak. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just didn't want this to be that kind of series.
You're not wrong about silage and greenhouses, I'm being very selective about what productions I'm using to keep it as balanced possible so I'm not suddenly rolling in pallets or cash 😁. Luckily hard economy and a small pit should keep silage in check too, that and the map price is pretty reasonable I think.

@@Feldynn Yeah, my No Man's Land play through I am doing is on hard economy. I am not really trying to earn as fast as I can, just trying to learn the game mechanics and try my hand at building up things on the map and create new sell points. It has been a slow burn to get to this point. I started out with nothing but the ancient Massey Ferguson pack tractor that is grey and from the 1930's or 40's and the trailer. I cut down a few trees so I could buy a plow, and old seeder, and a pull behind harvester, and a cheap grain trailer. Slowly I built up from there to get bigger equipment. With my next sale of crop and another haul of silage bales, I should be able to afford another property.

You're gonna have to face it, you're addicted to spuds 😆😆😆
Glad you got the tractor fixed. May it work long hours for you without much more problems. You're doing good with the chickies. I noticed a beehive towards the end. Perhaps you could expand on that for honey production?

@@quietrobot3683 damn that Robert, Planting all those potatoes.. 🤣. So far the tractor seems good, it's going to need an inspection and bit of repair sometime soon. That's not a bad idea about the bees, I had thought about that a bit too and I think I have an idea or two forming! 😁

Thanks to your information on multi-player, I am just about ready to incorporate that into my No Man's Land play through. I've got a chicken coop starting to produce a nice haul of eggs, my two greenhouses are giving me about $15K/day, and I planted a small row of apple trees that have not yet produced, but should do soon. I am wondering what they will be worth. I turned one of my crop fields into a grass field and the silage bails from it produced just over $30K. That's more than I would get from any planted crop from that same field on a good day.
With multiplayer I want to set up a little farmer's market to sell my apples, perhaps honey in the future, and I think it will even take eggs. Then perhaps build up a small town around it. I am almost able to afford a new plot of land that I was thinking of making entirely grass so I could utilize a BGE plant for the silage. Once that occurs, my plan is to retire the original farm from a crop farm to a productions one that will feature cows, horses, and pigs, and have more fruit trees.

@@eduardopena5893 Sounds interesting! No Mans Land is a great map with a lot of potential for development like that, and after some updates a while back it has some different and lucrative productions of its own too!
