Brother Amarendra Dada I thx u so much for teaching us about Tulsi Maa. The Tulsie plant (Basil)is seen in all countries in d world. God created so many plants with religious benefit. Thx for teaching us about d Tulsie plant and d virtues of worshiping the plant. Jai Shri Krishna.
Dear Prabhu, nice inspiration but take into account that the mantra doesn't contain the word krishnabhakti, it contains the word visnubhakti... this is a letter from Srila Prabhupada: "I am giving you herewith three mantras for Tulasi Devi as follows: vrindaai tulasi devyai priyaai kesavasya ca visnubhaktiprade devi satyavatyai namo namah This is offering obeisances, bowing down (pancanga pranam). And when collecting leaves from the plant, the following mantra should be chanted: tulasya mrta janmasi sada tvam kesavapriya kesavarthi cinomi tvam barada bhava sobhine Then the mantra for circumambulating the Tulasi tree. yani kani ca papani brahmahatya dikani ca tani tani pranasyanti pradaksinah pade pade" Letter to: Govinda - Los Angeles 7 April, 1970 if there is some sastric reference to this mantra with the word Krishna, pls enlighten me kindly. All glories to your otherwise inspiring presentations... your insignificant servant Gopala Acarya das
Hare Krishna Prabhuji , www.iskcondesiretree.com/page/tulasi-aarti Please check above link In Vaishnava songs it is written as Krishna Bhakti but while Srila Prabhupada sung Tulsi Arti He uses Vishnu Bhakti so we also uses as Vishnu Bhakti
Amarnath prabhu, Hare Krishna! I like your videos but I have a humble request. The chanting of vedic hymns must be intact and should not be changes. Your chanting of 'Krishna Bhakti Prade Devi' - according to the original hymn it is 'Vishnu bhakti prade devi'. We know for us Krishna is object of love, the 2 handed personality per Prabhupada's teaching. Please do not change original hymns.
Some says don't pluck thulasi leaves on Ekadashi? Why so? Everyday I offer thulasi leaf in the feet of lord Lakshmi Narayan. In Ekadashi also iam doing that.So does it good or bad to pluck tulasi on ekadasi?
Hare Krishna Ekadashi is the resting day for Tulasi Maharani and Dvadashi is the Appearance day of Tulasi Maharani. So on this two day Tulasi plant is not to be disturbed by plucking of the leaves or Manjaris. Happy to hear that you offer Tulasi Leaf at the Lotus feet of Sri Sri Lakshami Narayana daily , please do continue to do so. Here I can advice you what we do in at our home and temple - as you know we need tulasi for garland, to offer at lotus feet of Krishna and even for Bhoga. So you can do what we do is pluck enough or sufficient tulasi leaf one day before Ekdashi on dashami and put the tulsi leaves is a small bowl with water in it which will lead tulasi leafs to be fresh so that for Ekadashi and Dvadashi on both day you can serve lord with Tulasi devi leafs. Hope this help you out
