Jeez, this episode got a lot darker than I was expecting. I was expecting just a fun witch movie like Hocus Pocus but this episode legitimately shocked me at points...😅
i havent seen anyone comment on this but when Sharon at the beginning of the episode said “don’t touch me” whilst wandering off, i immediately called back to when Lilia said the same thing in episode 2 when Agatha and Teen went to see her. and later in the episode, she said “Try to save Agatha” And since she said her power was she could predict tragedy, maybe the quips/phrases she says are the lines of the characters who are going to die. So whoever says “Try to save Agatha” will be the next person to die. very eager to see how that will play out in the upcoming episodes. (this is all a theory too, so i could be lying LOL)
Quite the similar theory I have. Re-watching this show once all episodes are out will be really interesting with all her little prophecies.

Anyone else think Agatha really doesn't know what happens on the road? I'm betting she's never been there. She just traded her son for the Darkhold to get power. But also they now need a green witch...and who's the only other green witch still available??? Rio.

I don't know about that though.. the road could change every time you enter, like in a way she know what about to happened but not how it will happen

Don't know if you caught it, but "Teen" who's 16 years old said a lot happened to him when he was 13. That was 3 years ago, around the same time Wanda created the Hex in Westview then took it down. Also the newspaper clippings in the credits mention a near death accident around that time, which was also hinted at by the car accident Agatha discussed with Rio in episode 1.
The car accident wasn't three years ago though, that wouldn't of made sense when it comes to Agatha thinking that was how they moved the body
There's been a lot of hints, like Agatha saying "his father died recently" (Vision?)
off topic but only 3 years being the difference between 13y/o and 16y/o doesn't sit right with me. ik mathematically its right but it makes me weirded out cause time isn't real
They need a green witch, Rio is the green witch and the road punished them for not bringing her. Rio ends on the road.

In one of the interviews, Debra Jo Rupp (who plays Sharon Davis/Mrs. Hart) said she had a lot less costumes than the others, so my guess is she really is dead. Also note that they never added Sharon's hair to the potion, which makes me suspect they are going to do a blame game sort of thing next episode (you forgot the hair, you cracked the glass etc.) Maybe in a reference to the song "Your Fault" from "Into the Woods"?

well, he has been speculated to appear in wandavision for a reason, although it became tiresome later :P Mephisto is connected to evil magic and devilry by name, so... Its only natural they talk about him in dark magic / witch show.
@@arrgggod4656 She’s indirectly related to him in the Champions comics plus with Parker Robbins/The Hood being in the show, Mephisto also being in the show gives IronHeart the whole magic vs science/technology angle that Feige and Coogler teased for the show.

He said "a lot happened to me when I was 13 too" and he is currently 16. Agatha has been in the hex for 3 years meaning that wanda died/MoM was 3 years ago. I'm willing to bet he was alluding to finding out he has powers
He is Billy Kaplan.
He’s definitely Billy Kaplan/Wiccan, but this is the first ep they did something that made me think he could be Nick Scratch. I’m going to be SO mad if they do that. Billy is maybe the most iconic queer superhero, and his origin is perfect in all its weirdness. Don’t mess with that.
I don't think he's Nicholas...I think he is Billy Kaplan/Maximoff/ Wiccan because in both this episode and episode 2 when he tries to tell Agatha his name and then the rest of the coven, it sounds (at least to me) like he is pronoucing a B or a W when saying his first name (W for William or B for Billy cause Billy is a nickname for William) and an M when saying his last name...also when he mentions about a lot happening when he was 13, the kids who played Billy and Tommy looked to be right around that age during WandaVision...so the age is right for Teen...my only question is how many months have passed between Multiverse of Madness and the events of this show.
23:18 - she dead. Which is the reason why in the trailer - Rio comes out of the ground - the road needed an earth witch, or whatever - last one died, shes nearby (also escaping the 7) - boom.
I guess Sharon's death is what makes Rio's reappearance necessary, to take the place of the Green Witch. She'll probably show up next episode.
She always WAS the Green Witch.
Her friend who died in an oven is a reference to the character Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd! Patti LuPone has played Mrs. Lovett multiple times!

I have so many theories. I love that this show has me just as gripped and confused as WandaVision. The best vibes from this show.
This is a Facebook post I made tonight. I agree with Hector on more stuff and here's what I said about/expanded on it:
"Now Agatha All Along is rolling (no spoilers people!). Wonderful cinematography, lighting, direction, sets, wardrobe and hair and makeup. Top class, especially for something billed as "television."
This is more of what Marvel needs. Not witches necessarily. But highly stylized shows giving us the stories that help us connect with the characters so once the big team-up movies come we really care. Each project should read like the comics do. Different artists and writers doing their own style of storytelling with their set of characters for their time with them. Each project having it's own distinct style the same way the books looked and read differently depending on who writes and draws/colors (when I was reading there was no mixing up a McFarlane Spidey with a Leifeld Deadpool unlike some of the generic MCU looking projects we've seen).
This is the strength of the few post Infinity War-era projects that are generally considered best. Wandavision and Loki are uniquely their own thing and unlike anything TV or film have ever created before. Guardians 3 is uniquely it's own thing. Werewolf by Night was uniquely it's own thing. And so on.
I hope we see a lot more shows/specials in the future of the MCU and they save the films for the team ups. I think it's a good way to use the strength of the first three phases, loving and connecting to the characters, while taking advantage of Disney+. Instead of solo movies, we get shows that let us explore these characters in depth as people and see them grow and change and become endeared to us. Then the movies are where world changing events are occurring. The spectacle you go and see on the big screen."

The professional haters are going to have a serious problem with Agatha this show for me is one of the best Disney have done in years. It started off looking like a SITC type episode then smack, Straight into AHS Coven
I wont post spoilers but thanks to that Subtitle error we already know who Teen is and I suspect Agatha already does also. Sad ending but if she really is dead it was always going to be her 1st.
This could just be an episode twist and she just starts breathing at the start of the next
if that happens then you know she's a bigger character. The entire backstory of Agatha is so crazy dont rule anything out. 1st time in ages actually rewatching a show more than once at last!
God this ep was SO good. I can’t wait for more!

Even though we're a month out from Halloween, the Spooky Season is in full effect!
This episode had some creepy imagery, genuine scares, a little more intrigue, a little more mystery and a surprise ending.
I'm genuinely enjoying the show so far, and I can't wait for next week.

My theory is that each of the trials is going to represent the 4 elements and this one was water (home is in middle of dry desert like a nice spring, door carving being on The Water Phase, wine, sink as cauldron, home being flooded) and next one is fire (they got out because of an oven door and next episode shows a lot of orange.

Just went to the Dallas Meow Wolf a few weeks ago with my girlfriend and it was great, AND just found out from her they’re opening one in my hometown, Houston, this Halloween!
Billy has a sigil W M ,so if it's not him (billy would be William maximoff) and is Wanda, it explains why she couldn't find them during m.o.m, it would've been subconscious magic when she took down the hex. And it means billy can't use his witchcraft to find his brother, so thats what he wants
FYI Fred Melamed, the actor that played Mr. Hart is still alive.

I think sharon is "dying" hence becoming a witch. I'm not a witch but I am a Druid and a lot of pagan beliefs have you do some kind of ritual where you "die" and are "reborn" into your new title. They also caused her hands and legs to become black like she has used magic before she died. I think this is her being reborn.

I love that we’ve got an MCU project where the protagonist is just an unrepentantly mean, callous slime ball. It’s so refreshing.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Teen received a compliment from Wu about his hair that looks eerily similar to Billy’s hairstyle in WandaVision.
So it's now been confirmed that Mephisto does exist and at least witches know about him, and Lilia may have met Death before????

I don't think she's dead, I hope it's a catalyst for her getting magic.
The Ballad is full of stuff that happens and will happen on the Road: "If one be gone, we carry on. Spirit as our guide." Sharon guides them later perhaps? Or: "I stray not from the path, I hold Death's hand in mine..." This show is great but I didn't want Sharon to die so I hope she'll be back somehow. I love all these characters. ❤
My favourite part was seeing them cheers the wine glasses and Teen’s arm just coming in at the side and miming along 😂😂😂😂
In Episode 2 , Lilia blurted out "Don't touch me!" and then this episode Mrs. Hart said it when she was by herself getting tangled.
When Sharon was begging Wanda to let her husband breathe, that was a reference to episode 1 of WandaVision. That's probably what she was thinking in her mind when all that she could say was "stop it" while he was choking.
