I have enjoyed watching your travels in Australia and NZ. Safe trip home and looking forward to your next adventure. You guys are still the cutest couple on RUclips. 😊
Haere rā guys and safe travels. Ya need to come back sometime and enjoy it without the stress of having to make content. Squeezed a lot into such a short timeframe so thanks for showcasing our home✌🏽💚
Thank you for a wonderful series on NZ. Have truly enjoyed going along on your road trip, seeing the spectacular scenery and snippets of your fun times. Am looking forward to whatever you have in store for your next vlogs.
Hope you can enjoy your Christmas and New Years wherever you are in the world!
Take care and stay safe and see you in 2024!
Another awesome adventure comes to an end. It’s so SAD!! You guys really did ENZED justice! What’s next? Time for a break in AZ to recuperate? Thanks for the laughs and memories.
Gee you skipped visiting the iconic "Larnach Castle" the highlight of our visit to Dunedin. Master craftsmen were shipped in from Europe to build it and the intricate woodwork throughout the castle is just stunning. Seeming your down in NZ it would have been easy to duck up to Tasmania and expore that stunning place steeped in history
Sad that your trip has come to an end but great you guys enjoyed it so much. Hope to have you guys back again someday to try and see some different sites / activities.
Also, jaywalking isn't illegal in NZ, like most countries lol (unless you are within 20m of a designated pedestrian crossing).
Fun fact, you used to be able to come into Baldwin St from the top and drive down as we did years ago before they blocked it off..
Thanks for showing of my lovely country we will miss you all
When are you coming back to Australia? We miss you both!
It was a blast to have you in New Zealand. We will miss you. Happy holidays and we look forward to the next adventures. You guys rock!
I have really loved you NZ vlogs. 😊 I look forward to your future travels.
Thanks for taking us on your trip. Can’t wait to get over to the South Island in February 😊
That island you saw South, Stewart Island, is a bird sanctuary for species that were near to extinction on the mainland due to introduced predators. My favourite parrot in NZ is the Kea which chews on the exposed rubber parts of a car such as windscreen surrounds, wiper blades, etc. We saved our hire car from them after leaving it parked while we explored and then returning to see a couple of Kea pecking away.
From my perspective that 2 and a half months went by really quickly. The beauty and peace of NZ made me reconsider taking a trip there - its seems more familiar now that ive watched your videos. And it was great having Cody and Moki along for the last couple of weeks. You’re all such lovely folks. Safe travels and merry Christmas 🎅
Merry Christmas 😊
My experience visiting NZ began in 1967, last time in 1996, so I enjoyed seeing the country through your eyes...but based on all the wonderful Kiwis I've met, you saw NZ but didn't have the full experience without spending time with the wonderful people of NZ, making friends, enjoying their hospitality, visiting a family, being helped by a stranger, hearing their stories in a local pub, etc.
We see this comment from time to time and our response is always the same. The cameras are off for that stuff. Some RUclipsrs film it, but we don’t. Just personal preference, really.
@@OnePackWanderers when I travel, I also avoid pointing cameras at people. I ask myself how I would like it if I was going about my day, occasioned upon a traveler that needed help - and while I was doing so, he decided to jam his camera in my face the entire time?
Cheveyo, just to explain the lack of seasoning in some fish ‘n’ chips shops, it depends on how many low sodium customers they have as regulars. I can’t have any salt on mine, especially not in the batter or the crumb coating. For those who can have salt, it’s easier to add it than to remove it. When your doctor tells you to reduce your salt intake to a minimum, you obey him or reap the consequences. I have to be very selective where I buy my foods!
MERRY CHRISTMAS! 🎄❤️🇦🇺😜
Very good point about it being easier to add than remove! I think we've spent so much time in Asia, I'm a spice snob.
Merry Christmas! 🎄😊
@@OnePackWanderers Yes, I was very aware of the sodium when you were eating ramen and all the Asian meals, a little jealous because I had to cut them all out about ten years ago. You get used to it, but I do miss all the wonderful flavours of Asia!
It’s Dun Edin, not Doon Edin. It means South Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, because there were so many Scottish settlers.
Dunedin was the old name for Edinburgh. It means fort of edin
Yeah, I caught that one too.
Lmao😂
Thanks for reminding me how awesome NZ is. Planning to head back there myself. Safe travels guys.
Can’t believe this chapter of the journey is coming to an end
Calling it. Australia part 2 coming! Finish the loop!!!
Your visits to some of the places I visited in NZ brought back some wonderful memories. Thank You for your amazing travel experiences. Have a magic time wherever you end up next.
I'm amazed. Cody can say more than the word 'Good'
It's been great visiting NZ with you. It's one if my most favourite places in the world. I started following you when you landed in Aus, so now I will start with your first adventures. Have a great Christmas.
What a beautiful series NZ has been. Hope you both have a wonderful Christmas and i cant wait to see where you end up next. 🎄🥂🍾
So beautiful and magical.
Really enjoyed watching your guys tour around NZ, pity you didn't have a little more time to explore more of the East Coast of the South Island between Dunedin and Crhistchurch instead of having to rush past it all.
hi guys loved the look of those fish and chips very envious .... between Oamaru and the Waitaki River there is a monument that signifies the half way between the south pole and the Equator
Thanks for being great ambassadors hope one day you would want to be called kiwis
Thank you for making our country look awesome😍, you guys are awesome🤩, best wishes, looking forward to the next adventure!👍
I loved you videos on New Zealand and Australia . You really immersed yourselves with in the beauty of both countries . I have been planning to visit New Zealand for a long time . I hope I can get the chance to go . I love nature !
It looks exactly like when my sister and I were there in ‘98. Cold and windy. Took ages to get there but we didn’t stay long. Headed to the closest place for hot coffee.
We also did the steepest street in the world walk.
And now I’m wondering if you’re going to see the seals and albatross as well.
Been lovely watching your adventures wherever you will be for Christmas have a fantastic day 🥰
Hope you come to Tasmania next. That was fabulous.
There are plenty of immigrant Kiwis in Australia. Even here in Perth I can go to my local "Kiwi Fish and Chips" (actual business name) and buy L&P soda.
Aw. Kind of sad that this trip is over. Loved your escapades in the Land of the Long White Cloud. Loved Tai's comment about Totoro - really glad you didn't try to do a Mai and climb on it's stomach - ick! Fish Breath...
Wherever you end up for Christmas, l hope you have a super time. Loved all of NZ trip. But, looking forward to whatever is coming next. Still want to adopt you both. Safe travel and Merry Ho Ho and Happy New Year.. 🎄🎉
Thanks again guys for the experience of travelling with you 'digitally' and all the great work you all did bringing your NZ trip to life for us. Excellent that you sold the BMW so quickly and for such a fair price. Enjoy your return to trip to the USA and Christmas and I look forward to your next country visit. :)
You missed Wanaka. Best spot in NZ.
Thank you for sharing your NZ travels and opening this Aussies eyes to the absolute beauty that is New Zealand.
Yes it is sad that this adventure comes to an end but I feel that, like your Aussie trip, one of the accomplishments is re opening people's eyes to the beauty and wonder in their own backyards.
Whatever your plans are now, enjoy yourselves, be safe and I look forward to seeing what you do next. Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you and your respective families. ❤
This trip brought back memories of our trip to New Zealand quite a while ago and wishing I could return one day. Such a beautiful country.
I have been to NZ many times over the years as that’s where the better half grew up when moving from The Cook Islands when she was 1. But never been to the South Island! I said next time we go, we’re flying into Christchurch and doing there for awhile. Before heading to the North to see family 😂
A quick observation. I’ve watched approx 8-10 of your videos now. Really enjoy your relaxed and affectionate style. But I haven’t heard you comment on the people in the different countries. Just a general feeling about the population from your perspective would be great I think. I love to get a feel for people when I travel and would love to hear your thoughts. Greetings from Sydney btw!
Hmmmm, where might you be going next? I am guessing Australia or South America. Hoping Chile, because I want to go there soon. All us Kiwi's enjoyed having you visit us, but you certainly gotta come back again. Lots to see, plenty of reasons to return to NZ in the future. The offer to camp at my place still stands, should you be passing by. Big hugs from an old Kiwi.
Edit: Was funny, you actually drove within a km of four different homes, where I used to live in years gone by, and within 20km of two others. And within a 100 metres of two places where I used to work. Small country!
2nd Edit: Well, my next destination guess was way wrong. Xmas in Germany! You both looked as though you had a wonderful time, and I hope your New Year was lovely too 🙂
Thanks Packas, all the best for Christmas and a happy new year, may the road rise up to meet you.
I recieved some advertising from Mazda Australia and I noticed they have a write up about you with Blueberry. Great marketing for Mazda
"Done"-edin ploise!
Can't wait to see where you're heading to next!
Although I will say seeing you leave AUS and NZ makes me a bit sad inside. These are two special countries.
Great video guys. Have a great Christmas & more fun on your future travels.
Do i hear ...'work n travel Australia/New Zealand in the near future...' 😁
Congrats guys on an epic journey through NZ. Merry Xmas
Absolutely loved your NZ adventure. What a stunning country. All the best for your next adventure
I just love watching your adventures.. NZ is a beautiful place. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year... stay safe. 😀
Happy travels Packers
Merry Christmas

Great video. Have a great Christmas and happy new year. Look forward to seeing all your 2024 adventures. I plan to go on some myself next year. Thanks for inspiring me.
Epic journey so thanks for sharing!
Sad your NZ and Ruby chapter has come to an end but looking forward to your next adventure!
Merry Christmas! 🎄
Good on you guys. We did Slope Point a few months ago, so was cool to see it again through your lens! Best of luck for the next adventure!
Another excellent episode, another informative and entertaining series by Tia and Cheveyo. Here's to One Pack Wanderers.
Please come back to Australia some time and do the Blue Mountains and Tasmania... and the Lamington National Park in the mountains behind the Gold Coast, Queensland.
I loved your adventures through New Zealand. What a beautiful country. Definitely on my bucket list to visit one day. Wishing you both a Merry Christmas and safe travels to your next destination. ❤🇦🇺
Merry Christmas & have a Happy New Year 🎄🧑🎄🎄🧑🎄🎊🎊💖💖
I'm with the girls...Queenstown for sure. It's location is perfect for so many activities ( although it is pricey ). Good to see Tia is a lager girl...haha. Pretty sure you're heading home for Xmas....so, enjoy time with your families....thanks for a year full of variety and incredible adventure. That bridge in West Oz is now finished.....so you now have some unfinished business to attend to in the near future !!
Hope you all had a safe trip to the next destination.
I have thoroughly enjoyed your vlogs, great comaraderie between you. Thank you for sharing
Sad that your NZ trip is over. Hopefully you will make it back some day, there is still a lot for you to see there. The "Dun" in Dunedin is pronounced as in "crebain from Dunland!". Looking forward to your next adventures - Tasmania perhaps? Wherever you go, hope you have a Merry Christmas! 😊🎄
A great trip of New Zealand - coming back to OZ for Christmas😜🌲 Merry Christmas and safe travels to you all.
Well done. Having done all of NZ by train in 1987 and by car in 1997, I thoroughly enjoyed your journey. Although you missed Napier and Gisborne on the east coast of the North island...there's always the possibility of a next time. ✈🤞
Happy holidays to you. Recharge your batteries. I'm looking forward to your next adventure.
Aw ❤ another awesome video guys!
Its "good" that you enjoyed your trip around New Zealand. I'm looking forward to your future journeys.
I have really enjoyed your travels through New Zealand. Looking forward to your next adventure and hopefully one day we will see you back here in Oz. Farewell for now 🎄🎅🤶🇦🇺🌞
Well done guys, you conquered Baldwin street, hope your stay was enjoyable.
Really enjoyed watching and following your trip to NZ, you seem like two really nice couples so good luck for the future.
PS. Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas!
Hey guys we love Tia to absolute bits but we really really were rooting for her to do Tia For Scale on that hill haha😂 sorry Tia!!!
NZ is such a wonderful and amazing place, I have wanted to move there for years- travelled there lots of times and ridden around it on motorcycles a couple of times- my favourite place is Wanaka in the South Island- did you guys even get there? It is so gorgeous I really hope you got to see it??
We don't have Jay walking rules in NZ, unless they have changed that since 2010.
Have enjoyed watching the videos of your travels, Merry Christmas & safe journey home
Another great adventure finished. Safe travels and merry Xmas to you all
Thanks guys👏👏
Thanks guys for taking us along in NZ, looking forward to where'll you take us next 😊😊 In the meantime have a great Christmas & New Year 🥰🥰 love the Postcards their absolutely stunning 🥰🥰
Merry Christmas 🥰
2001 Myself toured NZ - Dunedin special memories
I was wondering whether I've been mispronouncing Dunedin all this time, but Google is saying it's Duh-nee-dn.
I love going to Botanic Gardens too, but mostly for the conservatories. I went to the one in Hobart last week and... it was about the same as your experience :D I thought the Christchurch gardens were quite nice though.
L&P soda: “it’s good” 😂😂
Wish you had a chance to go to Wanaka. It's much more beautiful than Queenstown. Next time :)
Dude! So pleased you said Dunedin as your place to live (I live here, and we don't get a lot of love)! Love Te Anau too, though. Thanks for brightening up our country ❤
Thanks for keeping us entertained in 2023 guys. Can't wait to see what 2024 brings. Merry Christmas to my favourite RUclipsrs...
Merry Christmas, Stuart! 😊
The third island is Stewart Island, I think. Below the South Island.
I've loved watching your adventures in AU and NZ. Stayed in a beautiful old B&B in Christchurch in 2006. Sadly, it was destroyed in the 2011 earthquake, but eerily it's still there on early Google Street View.
Good to have you in Aotearoa. I enjoyed watching and can’t wait for your next journey. Safe travels. Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas 😊
Baldwin Street used to host a charity lolly (candy) race, where tens of thousands of Jaffas (think a round M&M with a milk chocolate center and an orange candy coating) were released. First down to the bottom wins!
Where are you fellas off to next?...cant wait 🙂
Such a bitter sweet moment, loved the NZ road trip but can’t wait to see where 2024 takes us hehe
Sparkly duet tropical soft drinks nice
Sad to see you go!
Can I suggest Fiji next & Vanuatu.
Tia is right,Stewart Island is the southern most NZ territory, also they have sheep.
Campbell Island is the southern most island of New Zealand - It's 659km south of Slope Pt
It's the least budget friendly southern most island
If you ever finish WA go to Fishermans boat harbourb in Fremantle, Perth. The fish n chips there is off the charts. Tiger prawns fresh from Exmouth, , fish from the tropics to the south and you can have it deep fired or grilled with slalsd and rice.
The deep fried scallops with the roe legt on are incredible and caught locally at Rottnest island.
And when you eat their fishing boats are moored right in front of you in the water.
Have you guys toured each US State? I would love to see that from you guys. Maybe do a circuit of a different state whenever you visit home? It would be fun to see from a non US Citizen perspective now you've traveled the world and have different perspectives/comparisons
When I was studying in Dunedin I lived right next to hooked, I’m vegetarian and don’t like fish anyway so I can’t speak for the fish, but the chips are 👌
Awww, you should have gone up Baldwin Street, Ruby would have handled it fine... I went up there in a much lesser car, gave my family a fright because they thought I wasn't going to go up, but suddenly sent it and we were at the top in 30 seconds or so. Coming down though... that felt riskier because you had a sensation the brakes might give out. Thanks for your great cinematography featuring some of the best NZ has to offer. Bon Voyage to your next destination guys.
