We are Gods Legacy..its a gift many of us think comes wrapped with glitter and ribbon ..nope..but these surrogate fathers on earth to show us who God is when the Whole World bombards us with who God isnt...listen..listen..i just melt into full attention when his voice rings that bell..listen..listen..

GOD grace and mercy
When the offense comes up, don’t go there. Keep your mind on the positive. Think on things that are good, wholesome, uplifting. It’s not doing anything productive to think about something negative that was said about you, relive how that person walked away, rehearse all the pain and disappointment, go back over all the sorrow. That’s going to keep you from healing. Let it go. That’s in the past. God saw what happened. He heard what they said. He knows what you lost, what wasn’t fair. If you’ll let it go, He’ll make it up to you. He’ll give you beauty for the ashes.

Lord forgive me and deliver me from my past failures and wrong, ignorant, selfish, often disobedient decisions lead a lot of times by my emotions. My heart had been deceitful thinking because there was peace it meant I was right or it was the right decision when each time your Spirit tried to intercede I ignored. I want to repent and change from being lead emotionally to trusting the leading of the Holy Spirit! 🙏🏾

Was there ever a time when Charles Stanley referred to himself as an apostle? I've listened to tons of his sermons but I've never heard that from his lips. Bluntly put, there are no apostles today. N-O-N-E.

The person had to have been an eyewitness to Jesus after his resurrection (1 Corinthians 9:1); had to have been chosen by the Holy Spirit (Acts 9:15); and had to have ministered with miraculous signs and wonders (Acts 2:43; 2 Corinthians 12:12).
But it's just me praising Dr Charles Stanley, as a modern-day apostle who would typically function as a church planter-one who is sent out by the body of Christ to spread the gospel and establish new communities of believers.

what a message! It reminds me afresh of the mercy of God, our loving Father. I was there! In the slop pen. After being saved for only one year l turned back, for nine years. But God still saw me afar off, and in the most dramatic way, with great emotional cost and self inflicted suffering, He called me back and l came home to my Father, just like this prodigal in the story. What a homecoming, back home with my Father, l have followed Jesus ever since, 25 years now, He has taken me to Africa and Romania, and all over the UK to work for Him, there is no telling what God can do with a repentant sinner. I thank you Jesus, you came and you were Love personified and you revealed our Father to us, in every way, by the mission you accomplished by your coming. Glory to God!

I can so relate to this sermon it’s my life 😓🙏
This is the first time I've heard any preacher take us deep into the saving grace of our beloved savior. I have to agree in my heart that many lapsed Christians don't return to God fearing their shame. And this can also be because of child abuse that shamed them, the same abuse their parents knew from their parents (the sins of the fathers). As our dear brother explains here, we have the assurance of a God who truly loves us. His deep desire is for us to know He cares, forgives and yearns for us to trust in His faithfulness. He is our waymaker, miracle-worker and light in the darkness. Amen ❤️🙏😊
Never stop quiting♡♡♡♡♡
1. Desire- all sin starts with desire.
2. Decision- to live away from the Father.
3. Departure- made sure he put enough distance between himself and the Father.
4. Deception- Deceived by his feelings that he would be better off.
5. Defeat- defeated morally, financially, personally & relationships.
6. Despair- Despair in life. Loss his 'life' and self respect.
7. Desperate- step before deliverance or total destruction.

Powerful message
I have listened to this like at least three or four times now. And when he talks about how excited they get in the Hog Pen lol.😂 This is so good and I can very much relate to the story of The Prodigal Son and that's obviously why this has came to me so many times because I need to hear it.
