Stevie and Carole discover Pine Hollow is having money troubles and try to help out. They ask Scooter to try and get the Saddle Club a gig singing. Pine Hollow’s money problems are worse than the girls thought and are surprised when Scooter gets them a high paying gig. But it still won’t be enough, so Carole and Stevie try and persuade Veronica to get her rich father to help, which just might work.
Based on the series of popular books for young readers, The Saddle Club follows the lives of three aspiring equestrians developing their riding skills at Pine Hollow Stables. Each of the girls has assorted personal baggage: Tomboy Stevie's impulsive nature gets her into constant trouble, Carole rides to overcome a family tragedy, and Lisa is an overachiever with a social-climbing mother. Despite their problems (and the schemes of a spoiled rich rival, Veronica), the girls' love of horses and strong friendship with one another is always enough to help them overcome any obstacle.

Saralyn Clark No it is called flehmen where horses curl their lips up when they smell something unusual to lock the smell in their nostrils so they can examine the smell and determine if its safe to eat, stallions use it to sense if a mares ready to mate or not.
