    I’ve been waiting for this shoe release since your TRE videos. It’s my most anticipated shoe of 2024. Awesome break down on the Adizero SL2! I ran my first run in them this morning for 8 miles. The shoe is so comfortable on foot that it disappears. The full length Lightstrike Pro gives a responsive pop and makes speed changes effortless. The upper is incredibly simple, but effective to get a great lockdown for a daily trainer. The closest comparison is the NB Rebel v3, but better in every way.
    The only problem with the upper is the laces are a bit short if you needed to do a runner’s knot. I tried the runner’s knot in my initial fit to see if it was needed and had the Supwell lace loop size without the Supwell Approved lacing technic😂. Fortunately I didn’t need the runner’s knot.
    Lots more training to do in the shoe but I’m impressed after my first run especially getting it for $91 after trading in some AdiClub points for 30% off.
    One More Thing: That color way is fire. It’s the same one I bought and the Lucid Lemon color is brighter in person than the camera shows in the video.

    I just did my second run this morning in the Neo Vista, which is soft and bouncy like everyone says. Later in the year, I will want to add a more traditional trainer, once I get more miles on some that I already have. In addition to the SL2, I'll also be keeping an eye on the 860v14, the Noosa Tri 16, and the Hyperion 2. It's nice to know that this one is so soft right out of the box. It sounds like the Brooks DNA Flash v2 doesn't require as much break-in either.

      @supwell Месяц назад +2

      Oh man you beat me to the neo vista 😩 I can't wait to try that one. And 860v14 is probably the best of the "traditional" category I've tried. This one is also super soft and bouncy, more similar to the Mach 6

    • @kuriosites
      @kuriosites Месяц назад +1

      @@supwell Yeah, your review on the 860 really caught my eye because it seems like a slightly better version of the More v3, which was so great for running, work, and everything else. Based on the length, room in the forefoot and how much I have to cinch it down, the Neo Vista in 10.5 should probably fit you pretty well because you are a bigger 10.5 than I am. So far, it works for my slower, less forceful running style.

    I had high expectations regarding the SL2, as I really like the SL1, so much so that I own 2 pairs, precisely because of the firmness of its midsole. But this is the third review I've seen of the SL2 in which they say it's softer. You were even more emphatic in this statement at the end of the video. And when you said that it is the softest shoe you have used in 2024 and that it is completely different in this aspect from the SL1 or Adios Pro3, even drawing a parallel with the horribly buttery NB1080, you convinced me! I definitely don't want to go anywhere near an SL2! And I sincerely hope your assessment that ADIDAS is moving in the direction of softness is false! It is not possible for the high performance and energy return thanks to the firmness of its midsole, responsible for so many victories and PRs, to be ignored.

    Hard to believe, but this was my most anticipated shoe in 2024. And that you say it's a softie, I'm not sure if I'm still going to buy two pairs or just one. :D
    Compared to SL1, in the midfoot/arch area is it wider? B12 was fine for me, but SL1's firm medial walls were too much for my arch/PF. Sizing-wise, I stayed TTS with B12, and for SL1 I had to half-a-size up. Given less cushioning, is SL2 giving a bit more space in the toe-nail area, compared to SL1?
    Thanks for the actual review!

    Hey Yowana! How would you compare this to Vomero 17?

    • @supwell
      @supwell Месяц назад +1

      This is more fun and Vomero is more stable. Both are soft but the Vomero is more of a sink-in softness and this SL is super squishy and bouncy

      Speed 4 feels a little narrower. I didn't get any of that rubbing/tight burning feel in the SL2

    Sl2 or vomero 17

    • @supwell

      Too early for me to tell 100% but SL2 def leans faster and Vomero 17 more stable and planted. Less groundfeel in the SL2 as well

      @@cottrellmcdonald82061080v13 is slowest and most comfortable, SL2 is fastest and most fun and Vomero is in the middle - not super fun but comfortable and good for cranking out daily miles.
