  • Grace Court Alley is a street that transports you out of the city and into the past. It features 19th century carriage houses, each with perfectly preserved facades. Once you step inside Carriage House #6, you encounter a chic stylish home with a seamless modern flow between its interior spaces and multiple outdoor areas.

    Private garden: slab of concrete.
    Brooklyn Heights: Gentrification
NO one ever wanted to cross the bridge, NOW you can't get them to leave.

Both properties claim to have private outdoor space. There is nothing "private" about those spaces when all the neighboring apartment blocks can look down into your garden.

Wecoming is not how I'd describe this foyer. I used to pass these carriage houses all the time and wish I could go inside. What a let down. That rare homey NYC exterior, with nothing that says home inside.

Sad...renovations are too modern for such a beautiful historic building and no privacy outside. Money doesn't always equal great taste.

Yeeeeeup, visited NYC n Jersey just last week and as beautiful as everything was, as a black man who grew up in inner city neighborhoods, and not giving the opportunity or even the knowledge to own in those before its original culture was bulldozed, it also saddened me, ijs.

@@cornerstone7564 If that was true then everyone in the country would be able to afford nicer homes. Sadly, we live in a society where the rich outweigh the rest of us. Sorry, the American dream is just that: a dream. Everyone is not on an equal footing and that's how the rich want it. The 1% have been ruling the 99% for how long? That will answer the question.
