Cooks for three days for his friends, serves wine in a Solo cup. Classic!
I love you red solo cup
A real forest fuck. Gives meticulous work into getting food technique right and not one shit for pretentious jewelry utensils. Such as wine glasses.
My guess is maybe so it didn't feel so formal
2021 Steve would never step foot in that kitchen
@@FVPS904 I literally laughed out loud at this
Love the fact he has a real kitchen. No crazy $15k range, $10k fridge and deep freezer, or any other type of set that they usually do a cooking show on. Just regular, well-used appliances and a house that looks like people live in it, kids school projects on the fridge, a regular spice rack thats easy to get to, and just a genuinely honest kitchen.
You know he shopped around for that smoker though, priorities!
He lives in a much nicer house now, and a much nicer kitchen. This is an old old old episode.
That knife wall though!
@@charlesandrews606 that makes sense i almost commented steve is looking great like he got younger! Lol
whats a range
This man is an artist in everything he does, master chef of wild game, writer, hunter , podcaster and tv....Steve Rinella is a legend
This is what its all about. Bringing home an animal from the bush and cooking it for the family is always a proud moment
Family, friends, and good food. Hunting and Thanksgiving are one in the same. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
It’s what makes me want to hunt 👌
I wonder how his luggage looks like when he flies home from a shoot.
TSA: Anything to declare
Rinella: You sure you want to do this?
They inspected my gear going to a hunt. TSA did not check it coming back lol
"There's no jokes you can make that I havent made or heard others made a thousand times"
Wanna bet, Steven Wienerella?
😂😂😂
9 seconds later: “I just thought of a new one I hadn’t thought of before.”
7:33 there's a man proud of his sausage
A man? Don't you mean every man? 😆
I love how when he’s pushing out the Sausage he has a big ole grin on his face! Haha
lol yeah. talking about the jokes he's heard and then as he's doing it says "just thought of a new one" but he's classy so he doesn't share 😂
Let’s take a moment to appreciate how large his book shelf is
ummmmm....
most knowledgeable guy i know
🙌🏽
Steve rinella - legend
Just finished watching this. If this doesn't make someone appreciate hunting I don't know what will. I love watching Meat Eater. Can't wait for the next video.
Mouth watering hungry as well.
Love everything about this hunting and cooking wild meat.... Here in sunny south africa we love wild game meat... I'm busy cooking kudu meat at the moment🤤
Warren Wee Dick ? Most strange name
Kudu is such nice meat👌👌
@@williecosgrove 💀
Kudu meat is awesome if you use traditional methods
I really appreciate this episode. Meateater’s nuanced and approachable stance on wild game and conservation is what inspired me to begin my adult onset hunting journey. However, I started watching Meateater in the later seasons, after Steve already had all of the trappings of his brand’s success. Seeing Steve in this setting as opposed to his much fancier current home definitely renewed my vigor and hope for a successful hunting lifestyle in the face of rampant hunting based commercialism. Thank you.
The meateater crew has inspired me to hunt, butcher and cook my own wild game. Just did a whole smoked and braised venison shoulder instead of a turkey today for Thanksgiving. It was amazing!
7:06 he had the biggest cheese grin ever
HAHA
I always make sure I watch these cooking episodes on a full stomach, its unbearable otherwise.
I agree 100%
I am dealing with an empty stomach right now and it is a struggle.
Made my first batch of wild hog Schnitzel this Thanksgiving Morning from the backstrap of a boar. Gotta say it wasnt too bad at all!! Happy Thanksgiving.
Strapping on my drool bib before clicking play.
I just got through editing and uploading my daughters first buck catch clean cook tenderloin! Thank you for being an example to me, my children and my channel! Happy Thanksgiving everybody
Hey man! I just found/ followed your channel. You do a good job.
Imagine Being Steven's friends
7:33 You gotta put that on a t-shirt....hahahahaha
He’s even as neat and precise in cooking as in his shooting skills, omg I’m so impressed of this guy 😎❤️😇
This guy is awesome. Ive never hunted in my life but watching these videos makes want to get out there and giving it a shot
Pun intended
Do it!
I’ve owned the book Charcuterie for a long time, and was able to attend a pork preparation class put on by Polcyn where he broke down an entire pig and cooked sausage, terrines, and other tasty goodies. Buy the book. It’s money well spent.
I could watch this 10 times and learn something helpful every time, thanks!
I want to Eat with Steve! Ive never had game prepared that well like that. Goals! 🦃
Like father, like son. Steve, How did you get into hunting? How old were you? Who taught you? The foods look amazing. Great job.
I would feel obligated to sit there staring intently at the food as I ate it, making exaggerated noises of enjoyment, and thanking him profusely. I would be a total weirdo that nobody wanted to come back to the next get together, just to show my appreciation for the absolutely insane amount of effort he put into each of these dishes.
Steve: I went to the other side of the world and tracked this chili for a week in the blistering cold uninhabitable mountains. I then had to hike myself, all my gear, and the 70 pound carcass back down the mountain to butcher and package it all night, then ship it to my home where I vacuum sealed and froze it just to begin the process of cooking it over the last 3 days for you. Me: Cool! I brought some chips.
I know he can cook from his show - but I _NEVER_ thought he's such a social family guy who will cook for all of his friends, turn his kitchen into the Battle at the Somme and enjoy it.
Love the paper towel tip👍 Just vacuum sealed venison jerky to marinate.❤️🇺🇸💯
lovestufffrindfolw
"the type of meat you use depends alot on how much you like the people that're coming over" lollll
The herb bell is an amazing idea
Steve handled those sausages like a pro, huh? Lol 😂😉
Beans are all about the broth. Take those same ingredients and blend them into your chicken stock. Get that stock hot. Use the stock in a blender to help bring your seasoning together. Take a smoked hammock or pork neckbones and cook them down in water. Once they cook down, drain the water and add the meat into your beans. Clean and drop a whole onion into the pot. Take it out once the onion starts to break apart. Go slow and low until your beans are soft. Get some bread and get it!
i wasn’t into hunting at all, until i started watching this channel!
Came here for the sausage jokes that everyone has said a "thousand times"
one thousand AND one aint gonna hurt nobody 😂
Lmao factz
I’m new to this channel but god I love this mans way of life. Keep enjoying what you love. ✊🏽🤙🏽
Steve- Hey everyone I'm having a party and making some food.
Everyone-. Ok what time?
“Sausage making supply shop” hahaha Like they’re on every corner in small town USA. Luckily we have Amazon
Lol I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought this 😂.
i would do some unthinkable things to be invited to Steve's House for a dinner like this!
Is a thong and cream cheese involved🤔
Saying hi from British Columbia 😎👍
I had an awesome hunting season
Freezer is full
Now to enjoy my elk and moose meat 🥩👍👍
Enjoy learning your recipes 😎
This is beautiful. That’s what its about feeding your friends and family. enjoying what nature has provided at it’s finest. Awesome work looking forward to your next adventure
"West Texas Javelina Kimchi Tacos". I just felt the Earth move. Or maybe I swooned. Sign me up.
awesome job love how this channel respects the animals they harvest and really appreciate what it means to appreciate what they are enjoying
As a Native American who hunts and fishing to nourish my family I really admire Steven with his shows and cooking and eating everything he harvests he’s the real dude I jus wish I can meet him and give him some of our recipes for all the game we take for him to try especially for the jackrabbit our jackrabbit recipe is out of this world
Who else likes the turkey hunting one yesterday
Me
7:34 my man was feelin GOOD
The humbleness of his kitchen is awesome.
Man, it all looks great.
I dont know about with a marinade in with it but to keep meat juices from ruining the seal ..lightly freeze it first before a vacuum seal it. great show
Chili Con-tar-ne 😂
"You can find this salt at any sausage making supply shop" ...never in my life lmao
Nothing better than the guy making sausage with a bandaid finger.
7:06 i fucking died when i saw him smiling ear to ear 🤣🤣🤣
Just another Friday night !! 😁 thank u brother from jax fl
can you imagine rooting through his fridge or freezer. lol the stuff you could find.
Imagine taking a bite out of one slider and go ''Hmm yes tastes just like a BigMac'' lol
The way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Steve proves this time and time again.
“Its just a common blend. I have here dal sheep and pork fat back” Ha ha. Just your run of the mill TOK dal sheep meat.
Starving to death watching this one!! Every piece he prepared was perfect!! Awesome job!!
Steve's wife came in the kitchen and said "Honey can I help you" and Steve said NO I got this go entertain the guests. Food will be out shortly. What a great experience those guest must have had. I get exited when I make a pot of deer chili. WOW!
the paper towel seal method is genius!!!
I knew Steve was gonna bugger up the word 'charcuterie'. What I admire about Steve is his reliability.
"just say it and get it outa your system" all serious like next scene has a big ass shit eating grin on his face 🤣🤣🤣
Dang, that chili looked good, I think I have some deer shank and shoulder meat that would be perfect in it.
OMG, I got a chub for that chilli. Looks like the best Chilli ever
Charcuterie by Rhulman and Polcyn is on my shelf, right next to the MeatEater collection and Hank Shaw's books. It is the BEST.
Charcuterie is one of my favorite books. Just began grinding my own sausage. Glad to see you using that tome of deliciousness
I would blend the first marinade, the apple will help break the meat down and create more surface area for flavour extraction
The reason to have a wild game get together is to celebrate the life of the animal
World class food and guess who made them .. best hunter of all time hands down.. cheers everyone happy thanks giving..
No vegetable was harmed in making this video.
And I want all of it.
Who wouldn't love watching football in this house? I am going to be cooking some of the dishes on this channel. Moving past only doing stew, chili, steaks, jerky, kabobs....gotta try making asu much more. Best hunting and cooking channel ever
I would absolutely kill to have a meal like this.
Plucking a turkey right now for the Gallentine and then you hit me with this.... god bless you Steve.
I’ve never watched Rinella cook something and my mouth not water after
Those javelina tacos look amazing...
can i come over for supper please lol and go on an Elk hunt with you too ! 🤣
The sausage jokes 🤣
Hey Steve I hope you get this message. I'm obsessed with hunting love the videos since they got popular in the early nineties. Your videos has it all the hunt camping out hardcore cooking in the field cooking at home for family and friends love your videos. By far the best videos in hunting show out there keep up the awesome work stay safe my friend.
I really like all this guys stuff but that man looks like he’s always in need of a really good long refreshing nap lol
As someone who loves to cook and eat wild game, (but has never been hunting) would love to meet steve, and love his cooking style, I'm poor folk so it'll never happen
Quality is the word for that video 👊🏻
Paper towel trick is genius!
That sausage looks absolutely divine.
It’s awesome to be able to cook what you hunt, and share with friends.
But Steve....heat up your tortillas man 😂
Sausage tip:
Since he has a stainless steel grinder put that in freezer before to and get a better end product to ensure stays cold because as you grind creates friction and heat which can melt that yummy fat
“Sausage making supply shop” oh my town has one of those
It's nice to see that you took home some of what New Zealand has to offer and hope to see you back here for some more hunting
Absolutely every bit of that looks amazing!
That kielbasa looks good
I used to make sausages with my mom. Never had dirty jokes until Renella said it. Now, it's hilarious. Yeah.
That chili looks bomb
I’d get on the Chili recipe with some high quality beef. That’s a winner right there. thanks for sharing this with us. 🇺🇸😎
Master chef, great hunter and presented and great writer apparently too hahah
Not only can he catch he can cook 🥰
Espetacular todos esses pratos com carnes de caça 👍👍👍
Sim, espetaculares.
as someone who has cooked professionally for many years I can tell Steven is not a professional chef, but he really does know his stuff, and he is pretty impressive for just a home chef.
I don't hunt and I think I'm to old to pick it up. But I love Meat Eater and Steve's approach.
I was a hunter and I grilled meat but when I started watching MeatEater, since episode one I rethought everything I ever learned about hunting everything, and I remember when he was just a TV show coming out and now he’s the definition of hunting. He’s converting everyone and getting everyone on the same page all across RUclips and Netflix and the internet and I love the man for it. Before people thought of The Hunger Games or The Revenant when the word hunting came up. Now- 90% of the time it’s MeatEater
