For the price point, in comparison with other high end knives the value seems pretty good. I don’t yet own a Bark River but own Fallkniven knives and Bark River might have an edge over Fallkniven. No pun intended. Possibly better steel too 🇺🇸 🇳🇿

I believe quality direct from the factory, Fallkniven is comfortably above BRK. I only wish they offer better steel for the whole line up besides magnacut on the F1.

@@samthai818 Thanks. to be fair I love my Fallknivens. Well made and great convex edge. I have NL2, AI and F2 Scout in Elmax. The NL2 goes on most hunting trips with me. They are my go to knife these days. I wasn’t aware they had brought out F1 in magnacut…..might have to buy one!

Correction, the F1 is in Elmax. I agree with everything you said about Fallkniven, my A1X and S1X are the the sharpest knives out of box, and so easy to maintain the convex profile!

@@samthai818 cool you got the full tang x model. Those knives must be very very strong! Yeah the convex edge is so sharp. I am off for a hunt this week so will try out my r2 in Elmax for the first time. I purchased all my Fallkniven 2nd hand so saved a little money. An A1X would be pretty hard to go past for a survival knife
