Very glad I found your channel. Very informative. Great to get this perspective from a fellow Aussie and not the usual bar/girls/party Thai vids. Am planning on visiting with the intent of moving to Thailand next year sometime. Safe travels and thank you.
DM me if you need any help or advice mate, Aussie from the Central Coast NSW, been here married with 3 kids for 20 years+ (I'm 46) be cool to connect. Have a place in Jomtien and Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima. I can speak Thai unlike most "Farang" also, anyway respect you as a veteran.
Will you be here for Christmas ?? Drop in to the ANZAC Bar on Soi chaiyapoon (Soi Pothole) and say hi to Andrew...Great crew, I will be there for Christmas...
Congrats, if I have to retire in Thailand in my early 50's now, I need to have at least $3K or B100K of monthly pension plus $100K of extra savings for emergency. That won't happen until late 2025 or early 2026 to be living in Thailand for good.
I've taken both taxi and bus, roughly the same time, taxi will take you directly to accommodation but will cost 1200-1600 baht the ride in the bus is no more than 110 minutes and very comfy. see my channel, I recently did a video catching bus from Airport to Pattaya and return
as well as visiting the realestate agents I went straight into the condominium "juristic Office" most rent condos direct, so half the time your cutting out the restate agent get a better price. When you see a Condo go inside and speck with office....
@@lostdigger ahh right, thanks mate. That’s what a Juristic office is, just basically the office that’s usually on ground level at most buildings. I’m ex army Australian mate, so happy to follow your journey. Infantry (Townsville)
@@AJ-ww6qs no worries if on gold card happy to discuss alternatives for medical. great Australian community here, would advise to take everyday as it comes and remember its Thailand and they see the world through different simply eyes
@@lostdigger I’m a bit of a loner, after what I’ve seen and done in the military I like it this way. Just my wife and a hand full of life long mates, nothing more as I don’t don’t need anyone else. Be great to bump into you one if fate lets us. Keep up the good work 👌
Bangkok bank branch, have more than 30 days left on visa, get all the correct documentation. I suggest using a agent so easy. will take 40-50 minutes if use agent.
Your positivity is infectious! Thank you ox

you won't regret it, where you moving to ?
