Say what you will about 5v5, but I will always remember a number of things about BO4: - How clean 100T’s teamwork was - How electric (no pun intended) Dashy’s Tempest gameplay was - How dominantly Simp began his pro career - Team Midnight coming out of nowhere and looking incredible, then promptly vanishing into the Aether - How much fun it was having Team Heretics and their Spanish fanbase involved in the League - The crisp air and epic games on Seaside
that game was terrible. the only reason people liked it is cause the rest of the games around it have been consistently hated. bo4 is the catalyst for some of the worst decisions in cod. stim, manual healing in general, sliding for kills, million attachments, specialists(which lead to field upgrades) the maps werent perfect but they were pretty good and competitive. that game remastering fucking jungle is always a disgrace. this game also basically dismantled the island role which we rarely see exist like it used to anymore.
I wonder what pushed Formal to gain so much weight so quickly. He was pretty big by the end of 2019 compared to Fortworth towards the beginning of 2019.
I stopped playing bo4 after around 2 weeks personally. That being the case, this was one of my favorite years to watch the pros compete in. Getting to watch clay win back to back with such amazing new talent around him was really something. Seeing 100 thieves come in and go back to back before that, and all of the rising talent like Cleanx at champs was great!
@@chriselpatron BO4, Huntsmen in MW, same story in Vanguard (albeit due to injury this time) 3 of the last 4 years it’s happened, the only exception being Cold War, which we were just consistently shit at
@@Jake_Hortonn bo4 and maybe vanguard are the only seasons you could use. Let’s not forget Huntsmen was able to win another event later in the year after the roster change.
This year was completely scuffed, injury/roster drama screwed them over heavy. By the time Illey was back, other top teams had just got too far ahead and OpTic didn’t have enough time to catch up. The only similarity between this year and BO4 was that they won the first event. In BO4 they literally just fell off themselves (for whatever reason idk), no excuse. But this year they got very unlucky. If Illeys thumb was perfect all year, there’s no doubt they would contend for more events and they likely would have got at least another one going by the upward trend they seemed to have after Major 1. Point is, you can’t compare those two seasons realistically.
That’s what I Always be telling ppl in 8s and my homies and they act like I’m a Nut or some Shit, idc what anyone says Longer TTK is what shows how good you can be, ppl playin these games that kill in 2 bullets and think there good are probably the dudes we were All Smashing in games like BO4 and BO3 LOL 😂 ppl are just Bots 🤖 now days about 90% of them Anyways!!
@@DAREDEVIL503 I agree with longer TTK, but I think stims just promote a really ratty play style to the point where anything else is just worse to do. More than anything I think just having them in the game and it becoming a regular feature has been a negative as a whole. It worked for BO4 with 5v5 but I think otherwise it's not good.
@@keepingcompany8196 well in other games it’s pointless because there’s not manual Healing, BO4 was King with it because that’s how the Playstyle was Meant to be!!

BO4 was such a goatee game to watch
It was but holy shit am I glad to not be playing it anymore lmao. Those fkn Stims couldn't have been more annoying
Yeah clays goatee is sick
I honestly prefer the mustache games myself but to each their own
@@1upJeCK same my guy. Stim shot, 5vs5, specialists absolutely ruined the game.

“AND FOR THE Fiiiirrrssst TIME!” 😂😂😂😂 that voice crack almost ruined a legendary call
5v5 looked so wrong. its a shame too because 4v4 MW 2019 and bo4 could have been way better competitively
Pretty sad. I was really hoping optic this year would not be the same as bo4 optic. Wins the first event and never wins again.

Black ops 4 comp most underrated
Classics Ram. OMG.
If BO4 didn’t have stim it could’ve been a T3 comp cod ever.
The music was so much better back then good god the cdl blows
How/why is it only 720/50 and 1080/50 lmfao
now do infinite warfare
bo4 5v5 was pretty good to watch and play, stim added that extra skill gap with the long ttk
