Time flies within a glance when u are there to watch the plan landing and takeoff. Especially, you recall your childhood seing people sitting around the hills to watch the plane like u used to do decade ago when some kind of new vehicle arrives in your village for the very first time. I really missed this place and people around. ❤️ Mugu and it's Rara.
THAT is one short runway! Yes, the pilots that can use this runway are great pilots! Reminds me of the Air America(CIA) pilots and the runs they made. When I was in Korea,1968-69, if our base was fogged in, they just overflow out base. Heart breaking, no mail for two weeks, then hear them fly over in the fog and blow us off. Don’t know if they heard us, but, they got some cussing!
Yikes ...no before take off walk around , cabin baggage in front of air intakes ... Fod danger ..... All procedures ripe for disaster .... If I'm not mistaken this acft crashed some years later
