hi, happened upon this video while i was looking for something else. of course, i stopped looking for whatever it was i was looking for because this was fantastic. i don’t have a lot of fabric but what i do have took over a drawer in my hemnes dresser. i took it all out, refolded most to be 9” across and my small scraps i made just a little smaller than the one pack i own of a fat quarter. amazing! all my fabric now fits inside one shelf of the raskog cart and my scraps fit inside one of the dollar trees soda can organizers. thanks to you, i now have an empty drawer that i can now use for my other items. thank you so much!
Hi Stephanie! I am a dedicated & loyal fan of yours! I really have enjoyed all your wonderful Tutorials on your awesome RUclips Channel. I love your Quilt Patterns and have bought a few of them as a kit. I still love “Medallion Star” though. Thank you for all that your Team & you do for us. I truly appreciate it. I use the Target baskets you recommended to us and now I store 80% of my stash in them. I just love them and use them all over my house in the cabinets, drawers and pantry. Have a great rest of the weekend,
I just wanted to let you know that this video prompted me to unpack all my bins and drawers and get all my fabric where I can see it. I sorted it all by yardage so I could tell at a glance which fabrics were enough for backings, etc. I cut all the smaller pieces left over from projects into strips and squares. I used the baskets like you did and have it all sorted on one wall of my sewing room now on open shelves. I made 4 quilts in the last month just out of fabric I already had. I even found material that my mother who died in 1999 had been sewing together in strips apparently to make a quilt. I was able to make two small quilts for my two granddaughters (who are in their 30's) out of this and they will each have a quilt from their great grandmother. Thank you.
I loved your original video and followed your lead organizing 8 large drawers of fabric. I am still enjoying all that effort. It made my fabric so much easier to see and use. This video is a great way to access all that info. Thank you and prayers for you and your family to remain healthy and safe.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know of a way to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I appreciate any help you can give me!
@Jackson Yusuf thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Charlene Kalectaca agree with you completely. To think people are so critical of someone who is being kind to teach us things for free no less just baffles me. I appreciate all she teaches us. We women are supposed to raise each other up not tear into each other.
@@lorikalmeyer3501 Riiiiighhhht?!?!?! Key board warriors....lol! I've learned quit a lot from this channel. I LUV when they show the lines of fabric....😍😍😍😍😍 I just torture myself watching them....😂😂😂
@@charlenekalectaca218 right! We all don't like the way everyone teaches. In other words, not everyone meshes together. So, move on to someone else - don't judge! Thanks sew much. I couldn't remember how to fold and store fat eighths and it was the first to come up. If I've used some of a fat quarter, I cut a Fath and store the rest in a scrap bin.
How rude of people to say you talk too much. This was informative. Thank you. Could you please let us know what type of bins you used and where you got them? Do you keep these bins on shelves?
These bins are pretty ones found at Target. But often you can also find cute ones at your local dollar store. These are stored on shelves so they are easy to get at!
Loved this video. I am an avid cross stitch linen and quilt fabric horder. Can you explain how to fold a fat half of linen which is 27" x 36"? Thanks! Love what you do!
Iv been hearing the word fat quarter in alot of overseas sewing videos. Its a term we dont have in sewing. Can someone please enlighten me as to what a fat quarter is. When it comes to fabric we work in half or a meter but never heard of fat quarter
You don’t talk too much. You’re awesome.
Thank you!
You don't talk too much. You have a wealth of knowledge that you pass on to us. Thank you Stephanie
Keep on talking. You have lots of good information and tips. Thank you. 😊

@@QuiltAddictsAnonymous Thanks. I was hoping they would fit into my Ikea cubbies.

I would fold the 27” in thirds to get it to 9” wide then fold in half twice like the one yard cuts.
Thank you!
Hi, I really like the fabric on the wall, could you make some DIY ideas out of them?
I have a chair I have been planing to recover for years with the pink and black fabric

What are the finished dimensions of the folded fabrics.
About 4.5x6
You talk just enough! I hate those videos where all you get is action and annoying music. Please keep up the good clear instructions you always give!
I don't understand how you're folding the larger cuts of fabric
Sorry about that! Shoot an email to help@quiltaddictsanonymous.com and I can explain further.
I’m flabbergasted that someone would say you talk too much! You are doing teaching videos! What do they expect you to do? How rude!
I think videos with no talking and that annoying music is lazy haha. Plus, I more listen than watch.
