I hate how people are now turning around on Doug because they learnt he "can take criticism", forgetting that he has actively and passively done some pretty serious harm to people he had worked with. And he isn't even that good at taking criticism. All people points to is him laughing at some of the more mild Oney Plays-imitations and that interview when he talks about the Wall backlash, where he misrepresents it so that all his critics look bad. I don't think Doug is unintelligent, but he never takes his own advice
@@starshinestudiosofficial Me too. Learning that he put people in danger time and time again made me loose all sympathy for him. Though at that point all I was watching from him was Disneycember.
My breaking point were his "reviews" on the Jurassic Park franchise, especially his Jurassic World review, a review in which was responsible for all the clipless review bullshit.
There was a time, like a year ago, i found small youtuber, he did not have even 1k subs, but he continued anyways, i watch him grow, reach 10k subs, and now he is going for 20k, and your tipe of content make me wish the same luck for you
I'm ashamed to say that I watched the "Family Guy for Kids"-video, but it's actually pretty allright. It's not about Family Guy, but instead discusses a failed pilot McFarlane did for a kids show, that featured characters very similar to Peter and Brian.
I got 8/10. It wasn't really difficult for the most part because most of the fakes had blatantly incorrect elements, such as having way too much negative space (Doug fears negative space), or not making a huge effort to fit in with the original image (for example in the Mean Girls one, the real Doug wouldn't have made himself less bright than the other characters in the image; and in the H20 one, the real Doug would have darkened the left half of his face instead of the right).
I decided to play along, my man. My answers: Real. (Right. I knew the first was real not because I remembered the thumbnail itself, just because I recognized the video's title.) Real. (Right.) I was unsure about the thumbnail itself, however I certainly remembered the review, so Real. (Wrong.) Real, seems that's all I am capable of saying, eh? (Right.) Real, I remember it. (Right.) I know his thumbnail style and videos better than I thought, I was able to tell the validity of some thumbnails by the quality of some Doug Walker photos used in the thumbnails and what Nostalgia Critic videos I have watched though...
Used to watch a lot of Nostalgia Critic years ago, but they became rather predictable and probably grew out of them too. Did not remember them being that terrible, but yikes. His videos used to get millions of views and it is a complete mystery why he does not outsource thumbnails to somebody that can make engaging thumbnails. It does not make much sense to do thumbnails if you increase your views by 10% and get from 1000 to 1100 views. If improved thumbnails could increase the clickthrough rate of a regular Nostalgia Critic review video with 2 million views then that would mean 200 000 monetized views. We are talking about lost revenue in at least 4 digits. Your thumbnails tend to be better than his. Perhaps you should recommend him to hire you...hehe😁
PlatinumYoshi remembers Doug's thumbnails so you don't have to.

His Sailor Moon video was the breaking point, where I stop watching him.
My breaking point should've been his Hocus Pocus video, that one was so shit.
My breaking point was the #ChangeTheChannel controversy

This is some creative content here
Keep up the great work and don't stop what you're doing!
I wonder who designs these thumbnails?
What happened to you is exactly what happened to me. Even at 13, I knew I’d grow out of it. Thirteen!
Congrats for the 1k subs!!!! Is there any especial coming soon?
Thank you! I'm still thinking of what to do for a 1k sub special so I'm not 100% sure when it'll come out
@@PlatinumYoshi you could do something like doug or dud, but with your videos, idk if it's a good idea

I've been thinking about doing a Part 2 to this lol. Maybe in the near future, I might.
