That was the amazing talent of Karen. I loved watching her face when she drums...such joy. Wish she had known how amazing she was.

Mr. Guder during the various live performances is worth a watch. It's even more amazing to see the fun she has during that song.

Any clip with Karen playing drums is gold. I was unaware she was a drummer until a few years before her death.

KAC Awesome and one of a kind. Karen is beautiful. She is seen as one of if not the best female drummer ever.

Hi you two! I've been benge watching your channel. I found you about 3 weeks ago and have really enjoyed your reviews. There is one of the 50s singers that you haven't touched on and he was somewhat controversial. In fact, one of his songs got banned in Tulsa Oklahoma, where I grew up. His name is Jean Vincent and the song was woman love.

The Beatles, with few exceptions, did not like anyone doing covers of their songs. KC was one of those exceptions.

You got it wrong. I requested ""THE CARPENTERS LIVE AT THE WHITE HOUSE 1973"" playing song ""Top of the World"".. In their Japan concert tour 1974 there were more songs. I love ""Mr Gudar""

At the 1:56 mark you can see and hear Karen turn to their guitarist Tony Peluso and say "careful" Both Richard and Karen were perfectionists and expected it from their band mates.

If you’re interested in 1970’s covers that pay respectful homage to the original artist’s work but at the same time also are other great interpretations, I can recommend a 7 year old South Korean crossover male group called Forestella who do an amazing and unexpected interpretation of the late Jim Croce’s Time in a Bottle…and ohhhh it’s gooooood!❤. Forestella do sing beautifully in other languages like English, Spanish, French, Russian, Latin, Italian..They love Queen, so have done outstanding Forestella arrangements and interpretations of BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, WE WILL ROCK YOU, *SHOW MUST GO ON ( *as a trio with a legendary guitarist in Jan 2024 for the last one because the bass singer is doing his mandatory military training til May 2025) …Queen’s influence is also in some of their orignal music…also for another day. Forestella are not a K-pop boy group, their genesis is different than the usual traineeship with a big ent. company. That can be for another day if you wish to dive into them more. The youngest is the last to do his military duty and will be 30 shortly after he is discharged next year.. the oldest member just celebrated his 10th anniversary since debut in 2013 when he also reached the semi-finals of THE VOICE, KOREA 2. His first love was musical theatre, but he took a hiatus for 2years while Forestella launched their debut album and they embarked on touring and promoting and establishing themselves. He returned to musicals with the role as Mark in RENT in 2020 alongside Forestella commitments. Their names in order from left to right in Time in a Bottle video are Ko Woorim, Kang HyungHo, Bae Doohoon and Cho MinGyu ( surname is first in Korea) They refuse to be confined to a particular genre so have excelled in many so far…pop, rock ,popera, rockopera, jazz, folk, classical, traditional Korean, synthpop, K-pop, electro pop, ballads , reggaeton, tango, Korean trot , OSTs etc

Please try JOHN FARNHAM LIVE WITH MSO SINGING HELP. I love the Carpenters but John sings it with a depth of passion that displays this song in a way that showd how strong and yey sad this song really is.
