It was so cool meeting you and your wife yesterday! Thanks for netting my king for me too! What a great day it was for sure! Meeting you guys and catching a king is definitely one of the highlights of my birthday weekend!!! 😊Hope to see you all again!🤙🏽
@codyoutdoor hey Cody, thanks for responding. I have always wanted to fish the carbon river. Is there a designated parking location you could perhaps pin drop me. Or send a link to a screenshot. I've seen multiple known RUclips rs fish here like NWFS, or Raybaby, ADS, etc... so honestly, if ppl are going to say don't blow it up. Is already a known location, just not too familiar to us newbies. Anything helps, thanks in advance. ✌️
Brother That Second fish is look pretty dark you should released it try to catch better one i love fishing salmon too but for me any fish that i kept it had to be unless eighty percent clean otherwise i just released i very enjoy watching your fishing channel thank you for sharing us your videos love it I’m From Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦🙏😊👍👍👌
Yes thank you so much from Seattle! The reason i kept that fish kinda dark is because I'll use it for crab bait I also catching DUNGENESS CRABS in Putget Sound and they love salmon. We can't afford to buy chicken anymore here while we have so much salmon for free
Agree, i don't take any dark at all as well, or rather don't catch my limit for chinook. 1 chrome is enough for me haha, but i enjoy catching them. I just caught one yesterday as well 😅. From vancouver bc 🇨🇦 as well. Try fishing with a centerpin gear. More fun 😅
The reason we retrieve fast because there's a bunch of rocks down there and the current very slow I keep getting stuck with my weight and lure tired to keep tighting my new leader I lost my lures like 20 times
@@talibandz707 and your teeth are probably rotted out of your mouth and can’t own a firearm, oh and also spend whatever money you have on cigs and beer
Bong you’re making me want to be out there too! Looks extremely fun!
Yeah come over Puyallup river tomorrow Bong just bring your rod and reel with 20lbs main line and i got everything you need

@@ThugBodian OK sorry Brother i see some people they use those Salmon for Crab Bates but for us we use Chicken for Crab bates it very well too
@kaosaechao2659 probably not replying to me but I do the same, but with turkey instead, cheaper and tougher
would love to go fishing with you, never fished for salmon in rivers.
Maybe one day!
where are you guys fishing at on the river exactly?
Cody, where did you park to access the trail? Normally, I park in the town and walk through the neighborhood to access the trail.
Yeah I did same thing you did
You all take flossing to the next level with the high speed retrieve after the cast. The first fish was really bright
The reason we retrieve fast because there's a bunch of rocks down there and the current very slow I keep getting stuck with my weight and lure tired to keep tighting my new leader I lost my lures like 20 times
This river is full of tules.. do they even cut up good?
@cody what was your set up for this river? Leader length, weight and corky size?
Yes i will upload the video for beginners hang tight
Did they change the leader length in WA? Last time I remember in 2018 was no more than 5ft leader
Ppl use up to 9 feet
20ft is best
Wrong .the only restriction is it cant be under 12 " .you must be from Oregon with there crazy 36 " float leader restriction
@@AZ-gs6hj how?
😂😂😂😂 that some good fishing..
Catching some big ones!
Thanks 😊
I seen you catch those fish. Next time i see you I'll say hi

@@codyoutdoor I'm hitting the coast and heading to the humptulips early in the a.m
