  • I needed an audio upgrade that was easy, and that looked like it belonged in the truck. 200-Watt Subwoofer Kit 19417164 was the part number I needed for the Bose equipped radio.
I also wanted the Kicker 46CXARCT control knob for extra bass when I want it, and for turning it down when I don't.

Great video, and watching this has made me pull the trigger on purchasing this sub. I recently bought a 2024 sierra 1500 AT4 w/Bose system and I was looking for a simple bass upgrade. GM is running 15% off electronics right now and I had some GMC Reward points, so I was able to get a steal for around $517 instead of $830. Thanks.

Scared the hell out of me when you put a drill against the dash, but that is perfect placement for the knob. Will be installing next week but not sure I will put the knob there, maybe in the center console tray below the climate controls.

Would it work with a non Bose system as well ??

Almost the same part number, slightly different speaker taps. If you don't have the Bose system, you need part # 19417165.

NEVER EVER EVER use those garbage splice connectors on any of your cars. You are asking for lots of electoral issues….

I don't love them, but this video was about using the kit, so I used what was supplied. Good call though!
