Fred got one of the loudest chuckles he has ever had when Artie called Howard a pelican 😂
Underrated line from Artie - ‘Gary you’re clearly on the bro list so I can’t trust you.’
You can't trust Gary because if Gary smells a bit he knows
that's more important to Howard. Than friendship/job sentiments etc.
Once you're in sync with Howard you automatically know what will jump
off the page/make. Plus if it doesn't Howard will just cut out of the bit.

Artie jokingly called him a pelican back in the KRock days too. I think it was imitating the "I saw you" woman. Stern seemed to find it funny but I'd bet he was irked by it. And then when Artie brought it up against it opened an old wound.
Robin 100% instigated this argument.
Not only that. She did it with a lie. Howard probably told her to do it. Howard is a punk.
I am team Robin lol.
Robin is useless. Howard used her because she checked all the boxes. She adds zero to the snow and is Sterns puppet. Useless old hag.
She always does. I have always hated Robin. She was the reason i stopped listening to the show.
That is one of her roles on the show. She subtly instigated a lot of the major arguments on the show. I used to hate robin but i grew to appreciate her role/contributions.

So, Artie probably shouldn't have gotten upset about it or maybe should have expected that kind of thing from Howard Stern. That's true. But that doesn't make Howard's behavior justified or genuine. His whole "I thought we were bros" stuff is such a fake point. He's pulling whatever nonsense gets him on-show drama. All Artie did was say the word "jerk" which means nothing and if Howard was honest, he'd just take the "jerk" thing in stride. Instead, he knowingly contorted the whole deal into Artie spurning his loving embrace. He's full of it.
Artie is 100% correct here. He got the baby rattled that told him the truth, and the pelican didn't like that someone stood up to him. Good for you Artie !!!!!!!!

I love when Artie finally reads the letter that the girl wrote (and Howard read before booking her to appear) where she specifically states over and over that she has a fetish for “fat guys” and wants to hook up with a fat guy and not Artie specifically. They obviously read the letter and thought “Hey Artie is a fat guy, let’s try to hook her up with him and make a hilarious bit out of it!” Howard comes across really bad in this segment in refusing to admit that he was in the wrong…and Robin is there to back him up like always. Artie was also ultimately right in that Howard wasn’t his “bro” or friend and they were just co-workers based on their non-existent relationship once Artie’s troubles popped up and was forced to leave the show. They’ve only talked once in the last 15-years and that was based on a chance encounter of randomly bumping into each other visiting Robin.
