A pity the opera itself suffers from a lackluster argument such that, for me anyway, by the time Selika faces her denouement, I couldn't care less. lol Aside from the tenor's tour de force Pays merveilleux, and maybe this, the music is just suitable. Be that as it may, watching these two opera legends give the work the high gloss finish it needs is a pure delight. All examples of their artistry simply must be found and preserved for all to enjoy in perpetuity.
