Half the time I watch your videos I learn new fun historical facts. You should do a second channel where you just cover history. Could call it Erics History Workshop
@@KnarbMakes yes ok haha. crazy how the only way they could tell she was using it was because she was extra tired all the time. I would be using that badboy for naps
Love it when a video gets an audible reaction out of me. The dry ice got a jovial “oh fuck off” from me. This was so sick! Also Bloody Tears is awesome but nothing will top Encounter in MGS1 for me.
I love the amount of effort you put into researching historical architecture before beginning a project. Also, this video made me more interested in this game/setting than anything BMC has done.
Super cool! Loved the dry ice flowing down the aqueduct! All those ruined stone buildings make me think there should be tons of debris and gravel and stones in every nook and cranny, with dirt and dust and pigment powders all along the bottoms of the walls and structures
As always, you're making incredible and diverse content that shows off how to balance detail and effort so well. I am so glad I found your channel and I hope you keep up the amazing work.
Some of that concept art could worm it's way into being among my favourites' up there with certain fighting fantasy books and mordheim artwork... looks stunningly dark, sublime. They're almost Beksinski-esque... fantastic o.o wow..
11:54 Hahah, after you said you were adding bloody tears I was thinking about the song and then you started talking about it lol, but yeah top notch song, especially Myuu's piano cover beacuse THAT is *chef's kiss*
Amazing work Eric. I have to say thanks as well from your channel ive learned the wonders of acrylic gesso for priming foam. So many headaches with trying to paint foam solved.
This is my favorite video so far, I can’t get tired of watching it... even more than the competition with Dark Matter Workshop... absolutely amazing and inspiring.
It's fun when one of you guys make a big move and everyone joins in. Such a different community from GI Joe fans...I think we all hate each other lol. This was an awesome and ambitious hellscape. Some of the shots at the end are just fantastic.
Bloody Tears is amazing, but for my money. 'The Best is Yet to Come' off of Metal Gear Solid 1 is the best video game song! But I might be slightly biased as an Irishman! Amazing video as always Eric!
Bloody Tears is an amazing song! Recently I’ve also rediscovered Wicked Child, that ones really good too. Ooh, and the SNES version of Bloodlines. You could easily go on with Castlevania music XD
Going down the fast way from Rise of the Triad. Andrew Hulshult did a remix for the 2013 RoT that is on RUclips and is required listening for vgm as far as I'm concerned
A collaboration between you two is an awesome idea. AG is awesome l saw it on Mike Chens you tube channel simply dumpling ... if you are a foodie , great stuff.
Thx, i search the most time an Inspiration for a Snow Landscape for my Spacewolves. I wanna build a part of the Home-Base. Now i found it!!!! Before you paint, the most Look like snow 🤩😍 thx and greetings from Germany 😜 sorry for my bad english
Amazing job like alwayes, Eric! But, can I challenge you to build a different type of "terrain"? I'm talking about a bio terrain, like the interior of a tyranid hive ship. I have NEVER seen anything like this around the web. What could it be like inside one of these ships, where a group of spacemarines are fighting after a boarding? Thanks in advance if you'll replay at this comment! :)
Enjoyed seeing the battle board built, although I'm curious as to why such a light color theme? Seems such a world would be more bleaker looking. Not being critical, just curious. Appreciate the effort put into this, thank you!
I will never stop laughing at the fact that Idols of Torment spawned from terrain Black Magic Craft made on a whim while he was suffering from a creative block
so outlandishly cool. You know, every time i see one of your terrain videos it gets me excited and inspired to try to build a table. but where do you store all of these? like i build one, but then it gets beat up and banged up all the time, how does storage work for these?
this is really cool example that eventhough colorwise this terrain is really bland, it has such a cool atmosphere. the aqueduct is seriously cool, so cool that i am tempted to get my proxxon from carage and build similar one my self! :D Thanks again for great video
I’m like 99% sure that video game OSTs are allowed to be used on RUclips, since otherwise Letsplays and Stream uploads would be against the TOS. So you totally could play bloody tears. I’ve heard Steam Gardens from Mario Odyssey played on TWO separate videos about nuclear reactors
@@EricsHobbyWorkshop yeah! Don’t take some random youtube comments word for it and risk your channel, you should totally look into it. I’m just saying what I’ve seen from experience. I’d hate to be the reason you got a copyright strike, but I am extremely certain it’s fine :) Edit: it’s for this reason that a lot of streamers use Videogame OSTs as their pre-stream and BRB music.

I love the reference to Ozymandyas. One of my favourite poems of all time.
this is really great. i could see using a small smoke machine while playing to keep the fog rolling like some sort of obscuring effect on ranges.
03:31 love the Ozymandias poem quote
Been loving the verticality/3d nature of these boards. Badass!
that fog coming down the river was a great shot!
I looked on your mighty work and despaired. Great stuff!
This is a great build. That game sounds awesome. I love the mortal souls on the board. Interesting objective.
Great terrain and YES! Blood Tears is the best videogame music ever.
Go with it some more! Imagine that grim dark demon world!! A brilliant effort! Keep going!! Eric rocks!!!

I am just actually making a couple of terrain pieces for Idols of Torment, and I had bought your Wilton greek columns from the ruined skyscraper!!

For this particular one in it is in my garage. I got a custom box of heavy cardboard made for it that fit the dimensions snugly, which cost about $25
