One more reason to dislike the Monsterarts line is their preference for barbell style joints on everything over hinge which works better on some places.
Not to mention, cost-effective. I'm not sure why SH avoid hinge joints like the plague, but alas they do. Multi segmented barbel joints are expensive, easily popped off, and not work the best on some areas. Sometimes I question could you even call it engineering. Since it felt more like make a multi segmented barbel joint frame and put the exterior. No matter what, only barbel

For the elbow part i think bandai could just make an a curvy barbell joint like medicom and they did something like this in their tobey maguire spider man figure
And also bandai just make the damn bicep an a straight peg and dont put an a ball joint just put a straight peg just like the shf anime figures and for the wrist what they do now is just over engineering they dont work well like ultima or godzilla 2004

I honestly prefer this avenue of accessories. I definitely would not want to buy a whole other Kong just for the arm. This way at least I get the accessory and two unique figures.

Ok, personally I think that all things considered, the figure is pretty good. A little inaccurate, odd paint, and limited elbow articulation, but also I think that it’s a solid figure. It’s not that muchworth the price, but it still works. Overall this is a good figure and I like it. I won’t say that it’s without its flaws, but said flaws don’t really seem like a great big deal. It’s solid and I’ll probably get it. That’s really all I have to say. Good figure, good review, good night

At least back then when SHMA had this concept with Fire Rodan you got parts for not just him but for SHMA OG Godzilla 1994, OG MechaGodzilla 93, and with his beam and the spiral ray you got more bang with his price tag if you Consider those beams for other monsters like the SHMA OG Burning Godzilla, Destoroyah, and surprisingly SHMA Godzilla Evolve. Still waiting for the Hiya Godzilla Evolve

The moment when S.h creates an old, sick grandpa who hates everything around him in ape form, instead of giving us a movie-accurate Skar King where even a $15 Playmates Skar King figure fits the film template more closely, is an achievement that has to be achieved first, and then to charge $105 just to get the Beastglove for an outdated Kong figure, and then to find out that they failed just as badly with their S.h Shimo.
Scat king looks better without the back piece of his head and tbh this figure is terrible he doesn't even come with a growling face sh monsterarts is probably gonna make a repaint of this for a desicive battle version ngl
Seems this kind of confirms my point. Just like his reveal in the movie, this figure for Skar felt like a huge flop. (For the record, I don't hate Skar King, but with how they made Godzilla evolve and made it seem like a Godzilla and Kong team would be the only way to win, his reveal felt kind of lame in my opinion. We went from a monstrous three headed dragon to a giant terminator. And now, all we got is basically a monkey version of Hitler. That's it. Felt kind of lame and really makes me feel the Monsterverse is defiantly going downhill.)
