It actually feels nice that a Bollywood film is actually looking pretty good. The tone of the film is very different, it feels like something new is going to happen and the people actually has a lot of interest in the film. People are making theories, assumptions. I hope the film delivers. Because if it does, it can bring a paradime shift in so called masala films.

I pridict trailer is only half the movie.... Ranbir clearly have a father complex and after getting beaten by Bobby Ranbir kills him, but now he has a new target for his father complex that's Bobby deol. Hence Ranbir had enacted of his childhood trauma with anil and moves on. Now he starts becoming more like Bobby. Waise there is a strong chance that Bobby is a part of Ranbir's broken psychic because they are dressed same act same similar behavior. But that would not work with Imdian audience so I don't think that will happen.
I don't think Ranbir Kapoor's character becomes a criminal because of the attack on his father. He was a typical rich kid as suggested in the teaser and most probably he leaves his family with Rashmika's character to become a criminal. The private jet scene where he takes the pilot position was most probably him returning with his own army. The transformation to an animal may happen during the course of revenge.
The first scene in the trailer we see is actually the last scene of the movie where, he ask anil kapoor to act as a son and we hear some foot steps sound which increases as the time goes and that's why he says ye mera ek chance hai and i think someone is coming to catch him pr kill him ...and the scene where we see a fight where bobby lights up the cigarette after that ranveer will cut the throat and there after it he flies the plane which was shown in teaser and the wallpaper mohit has put on his desktop is the scene after ranveer visits his home after cutting throat of bobby with the same knife

I have a theory for Animal : We know, Balbir Singh(Anil Kapoor) is a powerful businessman related to steel business but secretly works as a powerful Arms dealer to criminals. Now a policeman targets him and gets him shot (as an failed attempt of execution) but is saved. Learning of this , Ranbir kapoor returns , forms a gang and attacks the policeman in his home during his wedding and gets him killed(the shotgun shot in trailer) and probably a few more family members. This all happens in presence of bobby deol who is probably the policeman's elder brother while he could do nothing . Now bobby's character will go into darker shade and turn into gangster to seek revenge and beat up Ranbir kapoor(the shirtless fight scene where bobby smokes laying on probably unconscious Ranbir)(also Ranbir is not trained fighter right now) and later get Anil Kapoor killed. This defeat and later death of his father will turn Ranbir completely into Animal . And finally after training himself and increasing his strength and skills battles Bobby deol in a final fight where Ranbir will get killed along with his gang but not before finishing 90% of bobby's gang. In the end bobby is the one who survives but looses everything in process and later maybe dies the same way as in love hostel movie. Also in Animal Bobby's character turns out to be Protagonist in the end and Ranbir's Animal is actually the Antagonist.
