I bought both the Mavrik Max and Sim Max 3 wood and 5 wood. The Mavrik Max is amazing off the tee, but horrendous off the fairway. The Sim Max is solid off the tee, but really shines off the fairway. I’d go Sim Max fairway woods and Mavrik Max Driver all day.
I really like the fact that you publish all vids of the models in the range at the same time. One question: do you not get annoyed with the loud sound when the ball lands on the hard surface? Perhaps a thicker carpet under the screen to soften the landing of the ball?
Difficult to say, will depend on a few factors. Once we get back out playing try them out and get custom fit this will then provide the right set-up and spec for you.
Is that little light on ground so it can read impact location? If so what kind of light is it. I have TrackMan 4 and have been told I need specific lighting for impact location to work
Good video, but how would you rate this against similar from Ping plse? I have a Ping G30 5 wood, have always struggled with 3W, ie to get the ball airborne, so just wondering how good you think this really is!? Cheers Andrew
It’s super easy to hit and get in the air. Hard to say how it would be perform vs other products as it’s so unique to the user...so we’d always suggest just going to try them with a good fitter who can spec you properly. That said, there’s some impressive tech that will definitely help you get results.
Very helpful review .Would the 5 wood be easier to launch effectively than a 3 wood for a 77 year old with a swing speed of only 65 mph with a 5 wood.? I really hope you will reply as I would appreciate an honest reply. Some people are very keen to get sales. Many thanks.

The Max sounds great! I am a senior with a 15 handicap. What shaft would you recommend?

Specific lighting is better yes. This light helps a little but isn’t perfect
