No problem and thanks for the love!!! Hope to show more routes and places around SF that are like 30 min adventures and tours. Was inspired by bike videos where they attach a GoPro to a helmet and record the scenic routes they ride on....Thought I could do the same, go faster, add some commentary to spice it up and share my world! Thanks again for checking it out
+ChristopherTozzi So how many miles of range did you get on that ride. And also what size battery pack did you have on your bike. And did you make it back home on that same battery. Or did you have to top it off when you got at your destination before leaving to go home?
So I get 16-20 miles every time I ride. Thats me at 200lbs with an extra 10 pds of camera equipment on my back. I have the 52v 13ah battery..... Definitely wish I had the 19ah but thats a serious upgrade and at the time didn't know if I should get as I didn't know how the bike would be. Now that I know, and have experience riding, and love it, I would for sure get that if I had the money for its 30-40 miles range. Topping it off really doesn't work as its a 4 hr recharge time with stock charger. There is a after market bad ass $300 charger that can do it in a hour. Perfect when Im on group rides and or simply want to go farther. About to get that and Ill be pretty set. All in all love this thing. An experience and thrill. Hope you get a chance to ride. Best to ya and thanks for watching!
Thanks! Official review coming soon but I can tell you I love the bike! Almost at 3 months, no problems(Knock on wood!), and has been one of best purchases ever. Now about the seat....I have a small little and I love the seat....Thats partially why I bought the bike was for that huge seat!! Cannot deal with special shorts or sitting on a small seat up my ass. It cruises for sure. Remember I gotta come back so its and hour on that thing. Treats me well. Highly recommended. Thanks for watching and best to ya
Yes first one! But... Im lucky enough to be in the bay area where this is hot so Ive ridden a Super 73, been on group rides with the Onyx bike, and have seen and looked at a Vanmoof a fellow BAESK8 rider has. Random but those are the best of whats out there and for my style and riding I love the Scrambler. That damn Onyx bike is awesome too and I like to give my business to local small companies so maybe and most likely, thats my next....Cheers!
Great vid, but please stop the helmet shaming. If we build protected bike lanes or even ban cars from Golden Gate Park, we don't need helmets. In the Netherlands they have protected bike lanes everywhere and they don't require people to wear helmets. Helmets do increase safety, but what we really need to do is build protected bike lanes in more places.
Thx for showing us SF!, that was a very cool ride 👍
